Construction is going on and mixed handling of costumers as well One check in clerk assigne you a clastrophobic room, which should not be a guest room at all and the other employee (Amanda) give you a decent room If you are not careful enough or traveling with children you might and up loosing your life in an elevator holes! (See photos attached) Yes,they have construction site with no pro cautions and stil accepting guests At the and of my stay I asked the bill but they were not able to give, instead they ask some additional service charge that I never used. Location is great,if you have the right room and right elevator!

I had such an amazing stay at Hotel Riverton in Gothenburg! I just want to stay thank you to the staff and everyone who made my stay this amazing. The hotel room was absolutely amazing, and the beds! I could not even get out of them, so comfortable. ALL IN ALL 10/10!

Current undergoing some reconstruction so place looked messy in some areas, new lift was installed, but all lifts ran very slow, quicker to get the stairs. Wifi is very poor, had to hotspot off my mobile. Restaurant is excellent - food and service.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights this weekend. On our arrival we explained that our return flight home was not until late on the Sunday night. The receptionist was lovely and gave us a late check out with no extra cost. The rooms were very clean with all facilities and a superb bathroom and shower. Lovely views across the river. Excellent roof top bar with a great selection of cocktails and a good vibe. A really brilliant stay!

Apox 20 min walk from the train station, but it is worth it. Clean nice rooms and Excellent view from a lot of rooms and the sky bar. Big pluss is the short walking distance to Haga and nice bars and restaurants

What's good? Most things, actually. The room; Majestic radiolampspeaker thingy (Picture included) was probably the best thing ever. Lightly increasing the light for alarm, pre-set playlist with different genre if music in a 10 minute session for a total repat of six hours. Very comfortable pillows. Cool glas (in-door) shower, cool faucet.. Pretty much everything was cool in this room for an average Joe. The room view overlooked the buildings nearby, where the elevator was set there was windows overlooking the harbor, with fancy lights at night. Extreamly friendly staff. Stayed for two days at the premium suite. Excellent breakfast, lots and lots of variations. Fast servants (picking/cleaning the tables) The distance to anything is pretty close, a 15 minute walk here and a 15 minute walk there and you're close to almost everything in the city center. Some reviews are listed about that they are rebuilding, which in fact they did. But went barley noticeable. (15/4-17) If there's something I do in fact wanna add to the more negative side which probably aren't that bad is that the duvet was a " double-one" but I could've probably asked or found two singles, I just didn't bothered. And that the parking description is a bit clumsy. You need to drive upon a road that does infact look like a pedestrianstreet. Just pass that and it's easy to find. Would recommend, and if given the chance happily stay again.

I spent two nights at the Riverton on a business trip, and my experience as overall positive. I was very pleased with the cleanness of the room, the friendliness of the personnel and the excellent breakfast. The restaurant is also very nice. On the "minus "side, the location is a bit unfortunate: view on a construction site of a parking lot and a power plant, and very little choice of restaurants in the neighborhood. The street noise in the morning can be a problem in low floors on the street side. Overall, a totally OK hotel, but maybe the 4-star classification might induce guests to expect a bit more ? (and please note that i was possibly staying in a pre-renovation room, that was perhaps not it its prime any longer)

On a business trip. Hotel is clean, comfortable and staff helpful and attentive. Room was quiet ensuring a good nights sleep, bed was fine. Breakfast is traditional fare but ample. Stayed here before and would stay again. Ideal for business traveller.

Have stayed twice at Riverton. It is very nice option both for business and tourism purposes. City center a few kms away with great eating out and drinking options around. Hotel offers also a great roof-top bar and restaurant and some nice city views. Good fitness center and a great breakfast-definitely on my list. PS: there is a renovation on-going which will give a nice face lift to this place in coming months

The check out pretty much sums up our stay. Me - "I would like to check out." Her - "What room number?" Me letting her know our room. She prints out the receipt and tells me it´s the receipt. Me - "Do I need to sign anything?" Her - "No." That´s it - and I waited for her to say some more. No good bye, no "how was your stay?", no nothing. So I walked out and we´ll never ever be back. When we got our room we found a bootle cap and an empty medicine blister in the window and a old dried out contact lense on the lid/edge of the trash can. We did´t bothered to say anything as we were tried from a long day of traveling. Then the next day they didn't made our room. We did see the housekeeper but he was gone from the floor along with the cart when we got back at 16.30. So that pretty much told us that the he was done with this floor/for the day and wouldn´t be back to do our room. Day two they did make the bed but didn´t provide enough new towels, no refill of coffee and milk, no refill of toilet paper and our used coffee cups were still in the room. We had the premium junior suite - what a waste of money. Breakfast is average at best and they serve powdered scrambled egg which tasted really bad. They get average as overall score because they did let our daughter stay for free because she slept in our bed which they usually charge 150 SEK extra per night.
