The place is squeaky clean. Our room was on the 1st floor so we had a high ceiling. The room was large and quiet. Bed and pillows comfy. Easy to use temp control. Internet speeds were respectable. Nice desk with lots of plugs and an excellent gas lift chair. Breakfast was good. Hot things were hot. Fruit was fresh. Good selection of pastries. The staff was excellent in the smile and speak tasks. They have a pool that is beautiful and well lit...but cold enough to store things that need refrigeration. Gobs of restaurants very near,. Great stop.
Stayed three nights, nice relaxing stay. The pool was a lot of fun to have family come and hang out. Breakfast was ok, would have like a little more variety. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, and quiet. I will stay there again.
This place was great. Very clean, well kept and the staff was incredibly friendly. Rooms were well appointed with comfy beds and a good shower. Breakfast had a lot of options that were regularly replenished. Wifi was strong and steady, and Ethernet ports were available (I usually use my own travel router, so this is important). Looking forward to returning in the future.
Decided to crash for the night and stayed here. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Quiet and nice size room. Very comfortable bed, slept well. Only issue was the maid was knocking on our door at 8 something!!! A little early to start cleaning rooms, we wasn't even up yet!!
We were passing through on our way home and decided to get a room for the night. I was able to call and get a room booked within 5 min. Once we arrived we check in took maybe 5 min. The gal working was nice and very efficient. Our room was a good size. We didn't have a suite so no microwave/fridge in the room. That didn't bother us since we were only there to shower and sleep. The room was quiet and very clean. The only downside was breakfast. The waffle batter was empty which was disappointing to our child. Instead we ate eggs, bacon, muffin, and a donut. The eggs, muffin, and donut were not a hit. Had very weird tastes to them. The bacon was surprisingly ok but we did stop at mcd's for a somewhat decent breakfast. Besides the breakfast our stay was pretty good otherwise.
Stayed for one night, but the room was very quite, comfortable, and clean. Enjoyed the hours of sleep, but most importantly the bathroom was updated and the room was spacious and fresh. No complaints.
We weren't traveling on the interstate, so I called the hotel to find out how to get there. The person I spoke to had absolutely NO idea and had to ask someone directions 4 times. They routed me through town, but we found out later that we could have taken the interstate to our location. The positive side is that the room was very big and very clean. The breakfast was also pretty good. On the down side, the pool and hot tub area are not very safe. As I was getting out of the hot tub I slipped on the wet concrete and banged my knee pretty badly. I ended up putting ice on it because it was quite swollen. I had to get a knee brace just to walk. They need to put some sort of non-slip material around the hot tub and pool.
Our room was very big, very clean, extremely friendly staff. Good Business centre. No Microwave or fridge. Hotel was extremely quiet, laundry very clean. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it.Would definitely recommend
Fastest check-in ever! I showed my credit card and ID, signed the form and poof, keys in hand. Took less than 30 seconds and after being on the road for 10+ hours we were grateful for that speedy service. Friendly, professional, efficient. The room was large, bed was great, and breakfast was very good. We stayed here because all the other hotels have obscene rates and this one was reasonable so we figured why not? Let’s give it a try. SO glad we did. (I see the prices a week later as I'm posting this review appear to be much higher than we when we stayed, not sure what's up with that. We paid less than $100 including tax for a king.) They have coffee 24/7 in the lobby, and they had evening cookies and these are things that make us chose one hotel over another. Yes, something as simple as cookies and coffee. We had a great experience at this hotel and I would go out of my way to stay here again. NOTE: Gillette has statues all over town. You can pick up a map at the Visitor Center down by the Flying J. It’s really fun to drive around spotting them as many are humorous. Also, the tour to the coal mine is fun and informative. Nice to see how some of these mining outfits care for the land and how things REALLY work, not how the media spins it. Worth the two hours and the $5 it takes. It will open your eyes, it did ours, and it was enjoyable.
We found the Comfort Inn here to be adequate. WiFi is included but is wide open and unsecure and you don’t want to log in to anything important. Most hotels are like this I guess. The room was small but mostly clean with decent towels and a decent breakfast that did include a meat, bacon, to be exact. Choice hotels coffee always leaves something to be desired. The staff was pleasant and friendly.
