Benikea Calton Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin

Quiet area but, close enough to everything.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The walls and carpet were in need of replacing. Didn't try the food. Small lobby. Big dinning area. Internet was fast and easy to connect to. The area is relatively quiet but, is still walking distance to all the best nightlife.

Dormy Inn Hakata Gion Natural Hot Spring

Dormy inn gion

The hotel is very nice and very small, but based on other reviews this is normal for Japan. The morning buffet is great! And the restaurant staff is wonderful! The room and hotel facilities were very clean. The reception staff was very nice, too, but the masseuse was awful! I don’t know if she’s Japanese, but she didn’t have the mannerisms or the politeness as the Japanese staff. Anyway, she was VERY rough... I initially signed up for an hour, but asked her to change to 40 minutes, and then when she started, I noticed she had good pressure, so I asked to do the hour. She must gotten mad abt this bc that was the feel I got... she kind of grunted ok.... and proceeded. Most of the massage was bearable and then she got to my neck area, and she was so rough I was about to ask her to stop, but the hour ended. I was extremely nauseous and dizzy afterward. When I got up to look at the bill, rather than giving me the discounted amount for the 60 minutes, she scratched off the discounted price and charged me for a 40 and a 20 which was abt 1500 yen more. I was like ... what?? And so after some discussion, she got really upset and got a new receipt and charged me for the original discounted price. Maybe she did that cuz she didn’t have any clients EVER.... regardless.... I was dizzy for the next few days, including my loooong flight back to the US. I wouldn’t have objected if she wasn’t such a jerk abt it all.

ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka

Nice hotel, good location, and good service

I stayed in the ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka hotel between 6/30 to 7/3. The hotel is located near to the Hakata train station and they provide good service. They helped me for making reservation to a local restaurant. I would like to recommend this hotel to my friends.

HOTEL FORZA HAKATA

Friendly and Clean Hotel

Hotel staff very friendly and they spoke English. We were able to park right out front to unload. They provided a heavy discount on nearby parking garages. Hotel was clean and comfortable. There wasn't a window in our room but that didn't bother us. Would stay there again!
