First of all, this hotel was very economical when I booked it, and costed me less than $50 USD a night. I also found this hotel very very conveniently located. Less than 5 minutes walk to Tenjin underground, which connect you to a full array of shops and the transit hub. Sushiro, a popular and cheap conveyor belt sushi place, is just around the corner, literally 1 minute walk. The room itself is nothing to write home about, it's small. We had the standard double room, and there was hardly any space to lay out our luggage open. Some areas, like underneath the desk for example, were a bit dusty. But overall, it was comfortable enough and clean enough. The staff, however, were very nice and helpful, as per most Japanese hotels. Hotel can store luggage before and after check-out as per standard Japanese practice. In a combination of things, I give this hotel a 5 since it was cheap, conveniently located, and was cozy enough. Oh, I also recommend people checking out the hot spring/bath house called Tenjin Yunohana 天神ゆの華, which is only a 10 minutes walk north from the hotel, for some amazing hot spring and an authentic japanese bath house experience!
The hotel room was very small with no closet, so we had to put all our stuff on the floor. The bed is very small for the two of us, walls are thin and we could hear the neighbours talking. The room service always put their dirty sheets, garbage etc, in front of our room. And the hotel doesn’t have enough luggage storage, so the management put guest’s luggages at the small lobby, then guests crowding in front of the door of the lobby waiting area. We went during the golden week and the hotel’s price on the peak, but we didn’t find the hotel’s value met our expectation. The hotel’s location is good for us. Walking distance to Tenjin and Daimyo.
Not too much to add that others haven't already mentioned: small, yet comfortable rooms; conveniently located to the Fukuoka City subway and to the nightlife and shopping (even on the 7th floor, I could still hear some noise from a club located close by) and free toiletries in the lobby, as well as amply supplied soaps in the bathroom. I didn't eat breakfast so I can't speak to that. As for the staff, they were pleasant and efficient, as well as proficient in English. Pictures are of the entrance at night (Not well marked, in my opinion), the sleeping area and bathroom. Would I stay again: probably so, depending on the price as compared to similar properties.
As mentioned in reviews before, these rooms are quite small even compared to other rooms in Japanese hotels. We (my wife, my 7 year old daughter and me) stayed in a "Queen" room but the distance between the foot of the bed and the wall was about 2 feet. The location is one street off the main street of Showa Dori which allowed for a fairly quiet night. The bathroom was clean and efficient yet the toilet was so close to the wall that it didn’t allow for a … um, wide stance. There was plenty of shampoo and conditioner and anything else needed was provided downstairs near the elevator. The staff was good and there was an English speaking (French?) man working the counter. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as there was a Tully’s on Showa Dori – a 2 minute walk away. All round, a pleasant stay.
Stayed here in the beginning of March 2018. Check in is at 2:00pm and not a minute before. The room was typical of a Japanese business type hotel. An air purifier was provided in the room. The hotel is located walking distance to the Tenjin shopping area. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance with some places open 24 hours. There's also a kaiten sushi very close to the hotel with very reasonable prices. The Fukuoka subway entrance is only a 5-7 minute walk.
The hotel is very convenient if one prefers to stay near Tenjin. It is about 8 minutes walk from Subway, but is surrounded by restaurants and shops. The room we stayed was just nice for 1 night. Everything in room worked fine and overall is very clean and neat. Free coffee is at lobby.
The location is good, it takes 5 minutes walk from Tenjin subway station. I will recommend you make use of the escalator from the exit at Parco, which is good for delivering your luggages. The room size is acceptable, and the daily consumable goods, like cotton pad, cosmetic water, lotion, shower can, etc. could be colllect from 1/F self taking boxes next to the elevator. You could enjoy with a free coffee from the coffee machine at 1/F, and the morning breakfast in few selective sets is nice to have. We enjoy to stay here and recommond to others.
This hotel is located a 3 minutes walk from the Tenjin station on the line that goes to the airport (convenient) from Hakata station (even more convenient), in a small street which is quite lively at night. and very close to Shin-Shin ramen which is a must try if you like ramen. The area itself is mostly business, but it has all your shopping and restaurant needs and also transportation. The rooms are within the Japanese standard, quite small but clean, and well arranged so no space is wasted. The hotel has a laundry room with washer dryers that are affordable, (I think 400 yens for a wash/dry), and wifi is free.
Decent and new hotel with tiny room which is not suitable for double occupany. Understood rooms in Japan are typically small but for those who are on double occupancy, slight bigger room will be appreciate. You will not get any better view as the hotel was surrounded by buildings. The free coffee machine at the lobby is a nice gesture though.
Great location rooms small but you have to especkt that when you say so close to everything didn't have the breakfast but ate in the room lot cheaper to can catch the train from the airport 260 yen each get off in Tenjin and exit at west 4 or 5 here has a lift so lot more convenient and about a 5 minutes walk to the hotel rooms clean but small has a fridge which is good air con and safe but it doesn't look that good though we didn't use it hope this helps
