Area hotels seemed busy during Easter. Made a reservation for a double queen room. Checkin was easy and room met expectations. The hotel and room were clean. Our room was located on the 3rd floor above the outdoor patio. We could hear outside guests past midnight. Turned on the room's heating/cooling unit for 'continuous fan' to help add white noise, but still would hear loud voices and laughs. Breakfast choice of yogurt, eggs, sausage, fruit, waffles, juice. Did not have a chance to use the indoor pool. When staying, request a room away from the outdoor patio. Suggestion to have outdoor patio rules on noise and hours.
The hotel is easily accessible from interstate, clean rooms, comfortable king bed and the best hotel breakfast I've had for awhile. Both hot and cold choices. The pool was heated and the area clean. The Wi-Fi worked well. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful and occasionally cookies were on the counter. It would be nice to have coffee available during the day. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.
Front desk staff are very nice. Breakfast was yummy. The room was clean and the beds comfy. The pool could’ve been a little cleaner. There are small details in the bathroom that maintenance needs to look at. We would stay again. This time though we’d ask for the top floor. We could hear all the footsteps of the people in the room above us.
We stayed here on New Year's Eve on our way to Florida. I payed for the room using Priceline, as a last minute booking. The process was pretty straight forward; my card was hit for incidentals, which was fine. The next morning, I read a text on my phone from CC, which reads, my card was hit for the cost of the room, again, but this time from Marriott. I walked over to the front desk and was greeted by the manager. She explained that it was a mistake, because of the "timing," of when the transaction occurred, the Marriott System also charged me for the room, but that it wasn't an actual charge, just a "hold." Well, of course, now there are two "holds," on my CC, along with the charge of the room from Priceline. The manager was kind and courteous, however, discretion and confidentiality where not a priority, as everyone in the room heard, "I can call the CC company and see about expediting the CC hold." Maybe it's a tactic they employ on getting you out of their hair, I don't know. In any case, for the life of me, I do not understand how in 2018 hotels are still un-able to correct their mistakes in real time, and not hold your credit hostage for 7-10 days. The room (104) was not good. It was small, and the beds were not comfortable, not were the pillows. The bathroom was disgusting, the ceiling was fouled and coming apart from old water damage. Fixtures inside the shower were damaged and had visible, residual, human hair collected about, and for the life of me, I have no idea what this fixture may have been. Old soap bar(s) remained from previous use, however, the room appeared refreshed, just missing some portions. Overall, this hotel is okay, just be careful with the processing of your CC and be leerry of poor room quality. One last thing: I called Marriott Rewards, as I am a member, and when they called the hotel manager, she denied the room as having visible damage. I offered MR picture evidence, they declined the need and stated that "we believe you." Not sure what that was about. ~Mike
Nice hotel, clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed a good night's sleep on a very comfortable bed (and that's important, and rarely the case in many places). Very nice and friendly staff. We will be back next time we travel through your neighborhood.
I stay at Marriott Brands often and this one is just average. It is clean and comfortable and the staff was extremely nice but... One: rooms do not have ports to charge devices, only outlets Two: TV comes on very loud every time. Three: They charge a small amount up front for incidentals and then remove them from your card days later, rather than sending a bill early morning like most. Four: I was awakened by people arriving late, not because they were exceptionally loud, but because the sound came in right under the door. That said I did get a good nights sleep and the breakfast offering was as usual. I would stay again.
This is a typical hotel but a few of the small touches I really appreciated. 1. Front desk people really nice and helpful. 2. Every evening they had cookies at the front desk. 3. There was water in a cooler available sometimes with coffee in the lobby. 4. Treadmill actually worked and had TVs. 5. They had wine/beer available for purchase at the front desk (and other snacks). 6. Breakfast was included and it was better then typical complimentary breakfasts. 7. Location is walking distance to shops, restaurants, Starbucks, movies. Would stay there again.
We stayed four nights to attend a wedding. The room, while not that large, came with a great bed, good Wi-Fi and all the accessories we needed. I'll add too, the room was spotless. You get a fine breakfast with exceptional coffee, plus a poppy seed bread that we found to be just incredible. In the evening, you can pick up cookies at the front desk--wow! The exercise room a bit tiny and it lacks a bike, which did not please my wife. She is not fond of treadmills or elliptical runners. I on the other hand, fell in love with the salt water pool. Again, it was sized on the small side, but it was heated to the perfect temperature and it was very clean. It took me about an hour to swim 100 laps. When done, I showered and went to bed for a solid 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Since returning home, I really miss the pool, and I'm not sleeping as well. The location cannot be topped for access to shopping, entertainment, downtown and dining. Most anything you might want to do is either in walking distance or just a few miles away. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Free and simple parking. Front desk staff was really nice and super friendly. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the front of the hotel. Room, Kitchen, and bathroom were really clean. The "walk through" closet is a nice touch. Act was on and it was nice and cool when we walked in. Pool area is small but hardly anyone was using it. There is a small sun patio outside of the pool so it was nice to swim and sit in the sun. The back patio with the fire pit was also a nice area to have coffee at in the morning. The lady who takes care of breakfast in the morning is really nice and works hard to keep everyone happy. The breakfast is basic but if you can get creative you could make something different everyday.only complaint I would have is that all week they had someone specific to run the breakfast area with only a few people coming in for breakfast and then on Saturday when it got really busy the gal at the front desk was left by herself to keep up with everyone waiting for coffee and refills of breakfast items. I would think that they would make sure someone was on schedule to work just that area on the weekends. Poor girl was running between the front desk and breakfast area with no help!! Outside of that this hotel is worth the money, Staff is super friendly and the entire property is well maintained. Anyone staying there should def. try the MANALU Italian restaurant a few blocks over. It was delish! Would stay here again and would recommend anyone to stay here if they are in the area. If you are in this area, this is a great choice. Rooms were quiet and clean. Easy check in. I was expecting a package and the front desk had it for me upon arrival. They even mailed something back out for me that was urgent. Friendly and courteous. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but it’ll fill your tummy if you’re hungry. I stuck with fruit, coffee and cereal. Starbucks and other restaurants are within walking distance.
