Grandhotel Hessischer Hof5.0 out of 5.0

Very much in the tradition of the grand hotels of Europe. The rooms are large and the bathroom is modern and also large. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I found the room furnishings to be a bit outdated and could do with a refresh. Enjoyed breakfast in the hotel dining where they have a la carte or a morning buffet. A business hotel.
I travel to Frankfurt for business fairly often and over the years I have always made it a point to stay at the Hessischer Hof. The service is top notch, always professional, friendly and helpful, and the front desk and service personnel greet me by name (I guess I'm there so frequently) which is a very nice touch. The rooms are spacious and most of all always very clean. There are sometimes a few hiccups, but they are addressed quickly and professionally. The relatively new spa facility and gym on-site is nice and convenient to use after a long day. As mentioned by others, the breakfast spread is generous and high-quality, with friendly service. This is not a cheap hotel, but if you are looking for a well-run, high quality and comfortable hotel in a convenient location, the Hessischer Hof is my choice. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful and large rooms, very elegant, excellent service, very friendly personnel, very good breakfast in a beautiful room. The junior suites are a bit too dark for my taste. The hotel is very quiet (especially in the rear part of the building) even if not far from the central station. I am a non-smoker and I did not like the smokers‘ bar.
Loved the beautiful, classical style of this grand hotel. Service and ambiance were top-notch, Only complaint was that the room seemed to be a bit too warm and stuffy, even with the a/c turned all the way down to 18. But the room (Jr Suite) was gorgeous, spacious, very comfortable otherwise. Enjoyed lobby bar -- nice wine! Had a lovely meal in their restaurant, too.
What a great place to stay. We met with friends and family in the public rooms, which are beautiful. The restaurants are great, we hosted family and friends there. The room felt truly luxurious. And it’s very centrally located. We walked everywhere.
I don't usually stay in hotels like this one, but a client paid, so I it would have been impolite to move. The hotel is sparkling clean, breakfast are absurdly good, and the service in general is outstanding. For me the issue is price.
The room I stayed in ie junior suite was very beautiful and spacious. The room was clean and bathroom/shower room was spacious and clean. The hotel location was very convenient for my meetings and it was accessible
What a nice welcome, high level of service, friendliness of staff. Nice room, well equipped but could use some refreshment. And of course, such a varied breakfast to start the day with. I"ll come certainly back.
This was one of those magical hotel experiences that you just can’t stop thinking about. I didn’t really use any amenities, but the staff was phenomenal. I felt like Cinderella getting ready for the ball every day!
The rooms in this hotel are great. The location is great. Jimmy's Bar is great. Nothing but great things to say. It is directly across the street from the Frankfurt-Messe and good proximity to many great restaurants.
