Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Fort Worth Downtown

Haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in 10 years. Chain has come a long way. Will use Holiday Inn again.

I loved this hotel! The staff were excellent--especially Tricia! Rooms were updated, very clean, wi-fi is free and the breakfast was very good! My only complaint was there were not any other restaurants within walking distance but they have a free shuttle that will take and pick up ! Great experience!

This Holiday Inn is situated very nicely right off of the interstate and is only a short walk to Sundance Square and the Fort Worth Water Gardens. The hotel staff were all very friendly, helpful, and welcoming as a list of restaurants in the area was given to me right at check-in. If you must drive like I had to, parking will cost you $12.99 a night (there's a sales tax added to the $12 listed online) but there is plenty of parking directly on the hotel property with many doorways to allow easy entrance or exit. Their free shuttle service to downtown or the stock yards is a great perk and very helpful in getting you to where you want to go. The free breakfast buffet, which is nothing extraordinary, still allows you to start your day off on the right foot and is also a great perk when staying here. The only downside I could find was that the hotel itself could be revamped a little. While the lobby and the breakfast area were fine, the rooms and hallways seemed like they could use new carpeting or at least a deep cleaning and possibly newer, brighter lights in the hallways. Either way, it's nothing that will damper your stay in this place and I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Big breakfast area with a decent morning selection. Indoor and outdoor parking and convenient to downtown Fort Worth without the hassles of being downtown.

1. The shower head sprayed one stream of water and had minimal pressure. 2. The shower head was so high that neither my husband nor I could adjust the spray. Why have spray options if you can't adjust them? 3. The hot tub was above 104F. Very uncomfortable. 4. The final step into the hot tub was nearly 20" which is probably not up to code. My husband sprained his knee stepping down into the tub. 5. The room is so narrow you can't get between the desk and the bed if someone is sitting at the desk.

Nice enough hotel.for business trip, but in short 3 day stay, checkin computer failed, first room was unmade, second room had malfunctioning lock and couldnt get in. Took an hour to check in. Got a free soda. Elevator malfunctioned once...let us out on wrong floor. Second night room wasnt made up... seems like a lot of little things. Staff nice but i had to visit them 4 times in a three day period.

This hotel is very close to the convention center, has shuttle service to restaurants and venues, is clean, and has nice rooms. Breakfast has many options to choose from. Staff was nice and helpful. Only small negative was when I called to be picked up from a restaurant they said I would have to wait 40 mins. If they had told me such a long wait was possible I would have planned better. They have 2 shuttles, maybe they could use both when big conferences are in town. I still appreciated the ride. I still think this place was great!

The pool was broken. There was a handwritten sign on the door. Disappointing when you have a little kid that looks forward to those types of things. the trash in our room was not emptied a few times. we had to repeatedly return to the front desk to re-issue keys. for some reason our keys stopped working daily. the elevators were incredibly slow. Otherwise, comfortable stay and convenient location. this trip did not blow us away.

Great! Clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back here

We were in town for my daughter-in-law's college graduation as an RN. My son says that this was a good hotel so we took a chance to stay there for four nights. Joanne at the front desk was fantastic. Room was clean, the hotel was well-maintained with the appropriate holiday dressing for Christmas time and was well worth the money. Breakfast was good and well-maintained. My only complaint would be that the night staff wasn't as friendly as they could be and insisted that we come down and get an extra blanket that we needed. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

My boyfriend and I went to Ft. Worth to check out potential apartments to live in when we move there in a few months. The hotel was great- the free shuttle was the best part. We didn't have to pay to park anywhere and the shuttle came and picked us up and took us wherever we wanted! The hotel staff was great, very accomodating :) The breakfast also was good and helped us save money on food!

Clean room. Good location. We had to pay for parking and parking was crowded. Walking distance from everything though. Room had good view of the city.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was clean and the staff was very nice. The girl driving the shuttle was busy, but she got everyone where they needed to go. Just a little over priced.

Clean and quiet. Very close to downtown with excellent staff and a quality breakfast. Used the complimentary shuttle on several occasions. Also an easy 15 min walk to/from convention center.

It is not the ideal location for a TCU game but the staff makes up for it. Chuck the van service driver takes you where you need to go including campus and he is great at what he does....very knowledgeable

Great location! Walking distances to upscale restaurants and bars. Friendly staff!

This is the most stylish express property I have visited. The staff members were friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful.

We love staying at the Holiday Inn Express Ft. Worth Downtown. We always stay here when in town. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are nice, and the breakfast always has a yummy variety!

Have visited ft worth two times this year and stayed at this property both times. The entire front desk staff made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond to help. The continental breakfast alone is enough to keep my business. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the shuttle made it easy to enjoy the nightlife downtown. I would recommend this property 10x over.

The wireless internet should have been advertised as "Free slow internet with occasionally connection" and not as “Free high speed internet connection”. Luckily there was an internet cable in the room that worked all time. The breakfast was very good considering that it is included in the price. The staff was friendly and nice. The air conditioner and bathroom fan was a little noisy but not more than I have experienced in similar hotels.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and all the great things you had to say about our staff and services. The egg white, veggie omelet is served daily starting Jan 1st, along with another egg option. IHG wanted to provide a healthier alternative along with our regular option. We look forward to serving you again.
