Avoid Omni Ft worth unless you have to

Not the Omni experience- fort worth location is next to convention center. Could not check in till 4pm. At 4:40 we arrived. Took 31 minutes standing in a line past the front door to check in. Only 3 employees working - had stations for 9. We were not offered anything for the delay. Omni select was not working for free wifi. Pool closed at 10pm and no concessions were made. Upon leaving the pool the kids were hungry. Spoke to a young man at the front desk who assured us the hotel bar would allow the kids and still had kitchen access. This was not the case. We were asked to leave and staff cited TABC law- which i can find no record of. Say it’s hotel policy but don't make things up. Asked same employee why we were given false information and he apologized and said he had only been there a month. Had the valet bring the car around, took kids out to eat. Upon returning, near midnight, crowds of people were coming in from various things. Understandable. But trying to goto sleep? We were on the ninth floor. Had to call front desk as someone was banging on the door next to us hoping to wake that person and let them in with no concern to others. Groups of people moving down the hallway till about 3:30 am laughing loudly or just cutting up kept waking us up. Went down to eat at the cast iron. Great experience. Wonderful selections and helpful staff. Came up to pack up and used the their text service to request valet of our car. Got an auto reply informing us they were too busy
