A very nice, newly renovated townhouse in a pleasant residential neighborhood. The room was quite small, and has less storage than you'd think (one half of the wardrobe is taken up by the coffee station), but the amenities were very nice. An easy, safe walk to the TRAM. I can’t say enough about my stay at 3 John’s Place. My room and the common areas were beautiful, clean, and modern. The location was perfect with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, and pubs close by. Far enough away from the major tourists spots to be quiet but just minutes away from the bus and tram stops to take you anywhere in the city. Will absolutely recommend 3 John’s Place to friends and family and will stay here when I come back.

A great place to stay, easy walking distance from the Port of Leith and Edinburgh's St. James Quarter. The check-in process was fully automated and seamless. Our room was well equipped, cosy, and comfortable, and unlike so many places I have stayed in, the shower was top notch. The Nespresso machine and a great supply of coffee was a welcome bonus.
