Extremely pleased with the Princes St Residence. We stayed in apartment 2. The place was clean and had everything you would need. The kitchen and living room was nice and spacious. Our favourite thing was the view of the Edinburgh Castle from the living room window. Perfect location for those who want to walk or transit around downtown Edinburgh. Close to everything - food, shopping, parks etc.

This is a very nice apartment and great for a group. Modern amenities and QUIET. As stated in description , you WILL have to walk up some stairs to carry your luggage if you are staying in one of the top floor apartments. Close to the tram stop which is convenient for traveling to the airport. It is a small walk to Old Town and the big tourist attractions, but can be easily accessed with one of those Big Red hop on buses.

The location is fantastic! The castle view cannot be beat. Everything is within walking distance. Having Tesco next door is beyond convenient. The flat itself was super clean & just perfect for the two of us. Having said that the windows could use a cleaning & other comments about the homeless (only 1 guy) are true but he didn’t bother us & isn’t always around. There is often some litter around the front door but usually cleaned up during the day. None of it bothered us, it’s part of living in a big, old city. I do feel a ceiling fan would be a great addition as the flat did often feel stuffy & for safety I’m sure-the windows only open maybe 2-3”. Would definitely stay there again & I do highly recommend the property.

Excellent location in New Town area. Beautiful views. Easy access to various transportation (train, tram, bus, can). Very walkable area. Rose St right there, full of pubs/restaurants.The flat has everything you need. (Just know there is no AC, but there is a fan. There's a washing machine, but couldn't get dryer function to work or the device didn't have it included in the all-in-one function) Would definitely stay here again!
