Very private, everyone was nice and welcoming. It's a very nice place to stay in the country but make sure you bring snacks and shop before you come in town during the off season. It does have beautiful views when you are driving around the area and the wildlife is beautiful to see.
March 4 night stay. Standard room. Was worried standard room might be too small - it was FINE, well furnished and roomy. Motel staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Motel was walking distance to Taos Art Museum and Plaza. Grounds were well kept and available to guests. Excellent variety and great ...
We were surprised to learn that we were staying in a time-share-hotel combination in Taos. But it was close to the plaza and we were able to walk most places we wanted to go. And there was a laundry room-with free soap!--at a point in our trip when we needed it. The room (with a Murphy bed) was comfortable ...
Checked in about 7 p.m. after driving all day. No bell man or hops, so guests must hump their belongings thru the lobby and small hall ways if you can find a cart. Once that is done, parking availability was across the road in the pouring rain. The second evening it was cold in the room and the switch ...
It was a fantastic experience. The only downfalls was the hot tub was down and there was not air conditioning.
three days of perfect skiing... that's about all there is to do there in the winter. Got lucky. Hotel was excellent,... reasonable for town and location / next to ski lift.
neither me or nice young man at desk could understand ROKU & had hot water in afternoon when I got there but not early morning, only warmish

Overall it was a good place to stay, even with construction going on. (It must be the season:" we had construction going on in 3-4 of the places we stayed.) There wasn't any food service, but plenty of restaurants within 2-3 blocks.
