This hotel is worn and appears not to have been refurbished for some time. Both rooms we were assigned were not properly cleaned--dirty towels left in the bathroom and a smear on the bedspread in one, a pile of sweepings behind the bathroom door in another. To make matters worse, the hotel charges premium prices in line with luxury properties. This is NOT a luxury property. If you're expecting a Super 8 or Motel 6, you'll be satisfied. Otherwise, you'll be disappointed.

Smelly. Bad mattress. Never staying here again.

The mattress was old, lumpy, and uncomfortable. The chair was old, misshapen, and uncomfortable. Seriously like someone found the mattress and chair by the side of the road on garbage day, loaded them in a truck, then put them in the hotel room. We were tired and sore after trying to sleep in the bed. The room stank. The shower wouldn’t drain. Water was in the shower pan during our entire stay. The lampshade has holes in it. Bugs were crawling under the door. The grounds are well maintained and the lobby is pretty. Have a look around then go stay at another hotel.

The layout of the hotel is very well done and inviting. But That is where it ends. The mural on the wall above the bed was unrecognizable. Faded beyond seeing what it was. Furniture outdated, looked like from the 80's. But the worst was the shower. The glass doors had not been cleaned in who knows how long. Calcium streaks down both doors. And I don't mean a few. They tell you on check in that they do not clean the rooms daily. It shows. The door (opens to outside) had a gap big enough to let flies in. I would hate to be staying there in the winter! This is sad, because it is a nice hotel in a nice location. But management has apparently cut so many corners that upkeep and service has suffered. We would not stay there again for the rates they charge. Other hotels nearby are better maintained at the same or even lower rates.

We have stayed at this hotel before during a ski trip, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The hotel really needs some TLC. It is pretty dated and quite expensive. The pool had way too much chlorine in it, which we are sensitive to. It would be nice to have shaded public spaces.
