Staff was ok and process of check in and out was smooth- the room had no AC which i asked about and they said they knew it was broken but couldnt fix it. also the tv was not even plugged in when i got into the room had to plug it in. there was an alarm clock on nightstand on side of bed with no outlet.

The room is cold mattress worn out felt dirty being in there

The hotel is in need of repair. Broken and missing tiles around sink and tub. No water pressure. Filthy tub and floor.

Poor Facilities, room too small, no AC, thin walls, TV was 19 inch CRT.

No a/c and ceiling fan was too noisy. Bed mattress was hard and towels were worn

Smaller than expected. No A/C, fridge or microwave. Stuffy w/o fan.

One night was enough. Room was clean but missing light bulbs, in fact one light kept flickering on and off--on it's own accord. Air conditioner was basically broken...and very loud when on.

This place closes at 9:00 pm and will it let you in after that time even if Room is paid for Very very inconvenient

The hotel met our expectations, but we did not need two queen size beds, but I guess that no other accommodations were available.

For a tourist town the cost was about the cheapest in town. The room was advertised as a queen bed, but only had a double. The outdoor hot tub looked to have been broken for some time. Cable TV only worked some of the time. All this being said, a sub $100 in a tourist town on a holiday weekend would make this stay acceptable.

We stayed one night on a busy, rainy weekend when hotel choices were limited. The bldg is a little run down but the grounds are loving cared for. The staff is nice and the rooms clean. The location is great. Just a mile or so to the center of town and near supermarkets and shops. It is on a busy street but set back from the road so it is quiet. My only problem is there was no heat and only threadbare blankets...One to each bed. The hot water takes forever to get warm.

We had an uneventful stay at the Sun God Lodge, except for a couple of disruptive elements. There was a nice elderly couple staying upstairs, who were thankfully not up until all hours, because from our room we could hear every word from their television. They must have turned in early enough, because it did not continue to disturb us for long. However, the air-conditioning unit SPIT ICE chips into the room all night long. Even at the end of March the room was too hot to leave it off overnight, but given the noise from the unit, plus the occasional loud disgorgement of little bits of ice, we did not get a heck of a lot of sleep. Oh, and the toilet didn't flush. Staff were helpful and said they would call maintenance to do repairs after we left. Hopefully the next folks got a slightly easier night's sleep. If you choose this hotel, maybe ask for an upstairs room!

We had to request another room because the room was dark and uninviting and the occupants in the next room was loud. There wasn't enough light in the dressing room to see, and not enough towels and wash cloths. The staff was friendly and helpful, probably won't stay there again

The sun god lodge was exactly what we were looking for a night before snowboarding at Taos. The price was perfect, staff was friendly and the room was charming. I read a ton of reviews in trying to decide, what attracted me was the uniqueness of the hotel, that is wasn't a big chain and looked super cute. Someone said it was Taos to a T and we both agree that it is true. Our room was nice, clean, the temperature controls were perfect, there is a nice hot tub and the staff was lovely. I'd highly recommend it!

The room was very small and had dark and gloomy wall panels throughout. There is no air conditioning in the room so I asked for a large, floor fan to stave off the afternoon heat. The shower head dripped the water as there was very little pressure apparent. My lady and I were pleased with the part that Orbitz played in our planning, though, so you can expect to hear from us again, Thank You...............Floyd & Kathy.

Went for the Mother's day celebration...Very nice quiet room....So New Mexico style..The carpet could use little upgrade other than that..clean room, freindly people...very close to the park..right in the middle of everything...What else can you ask for..will definelty go back!

The decor is somewhat kitchey, but otherwise it was a very nice, reasonably priced place to stay.

Toilet would not stop running, faucet would not shut off,no screen on window,no air conditioning.

Noisy heating system in one room - dirty towel -- impossible to sleep; no hot water and dirty baseboards in other room. Wi-Fi impossible to use. [...] we opted to abandon this disappointing motel and booked at the Whitten Inn instead. [...]

small room, suspect noise in the walls (rodents?) no possibility of breakfast

Hi there. We apologize for any inconvenience. There were some miscommunications between third party booking systems that stated we closed later. These have been rectified. Thank you for the feedback so we could address the issue.
