Great location and the staff is wonderful. Rooms are so lovely that you feel like home.

We loved how our room patio opened right to the river and we could hear it all night. It wasn’t too busy and the staff welcomed us with a big smile . We definitely plan to be back in the near future!

Great location with good proximity to all of the base services at Taos. The sauna was broken throughout our stay and the rooms and common areas are a wee bit dated.

property was very quite up in the mountains

Great location. Friendly staff. Rooms are a bit loud. Noise bleeds in from the halls and other rooms. Need a better breakfast option. The Stay Dog breakfast next door didn’t start till 8am, was low quality and cost about $30 with tip for two.

This is a "traditional" ski lodge which is designed for ski gear getting banged around, melted and stored safely. Location is great given its proximity to Lift 1. Parking for check-in can be very tricky as there is no room to park, but we were very happy with the help given (without asking) to lug our stuff from car to our room. Room is basic - - don't expect much, but who really cares if you are focused on skiing. Good value.

Very nice place in a picture effect area! Would highly recommend

Beautiful setting with the sound of the river going by.

Great loft w/ kitchenette and deck to enjoy weather and view. Excellent staff communication.

My boyfriend and I stayed with my 3 teenage boys and his teenage son. It had plenty of room for everyone and very comfortable accommodations. We’d love to come back again!

Loved where the Alpine Village Suites are located. We stayed in a one bedroom with a loft, which was nice. The only negative, the person sleeping in the loft was a little uncomfortable because it was a little too hot, making it hard to sleep up there. Additionally, there wasn't a way to adjust the thermostat.

Top quality! Room was clean, spacious, gorgeous view highly recommend!

Checked in about 7 p.m. after driving all day. No bell man or hops, so guests must hump their belongings thru the lobby and small hall ways if you can find a cart. Once that is done, parking availability was across the road in the pouring rain. The second evening it was cold in the room and the switch for the fireplace was not working, therefore no heat, until front desk offered us a loft (not a comparable room to ours) or a space heater, which we took the latter. No thermostats in room. I had reserved a room for a recently new family member which was put under my name. I specifically told the clerk on the phone that I was not paying for the 2nd day, which I didn't realize was on my credit card until I arrived home. When I asked the clerk information about it while there, knew very little about. I had assumed he or someone else had taken care of it.

A very nice place. Good rooms and a great location.

The condo was perfect for 2 couples. The fireplace going when we got there was a nice touch as it had been raining & windy. Very nicely decorated. Beds are very comfortable. They were doing road work, so the whole area seemed like it was under construction. The buildings are in need of maintenance on the outside. The inside was a little on the dark side as well. However, I would definitely stay there again as it was a perfect location, cozy and very comfortable and quite enjoyable with the beautiful decorations.

Beautiful accommodations in a beautiful setting. If you have the chance stay in Suite 26 - AMAZING!

Great staff support and pleasing environment. Running stream with water-falls nearby adds ambiance to the surroundings.

Thanks for the review, Ben. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and our location, but we promise to have the sauna working again during your next visit. The breaker had tripped on our sauna and we now have resolved the issue for future guests.

Thank you for your review! We strive to provide all of our guests with a memorable experience in Taos Ski Valley and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We are, however, disappointed to hear that you did not like your breakfast at the Stray Dog Cantina. Although we are not affiliated in any way, we feel the the $5 breakfast is the best value you can find in the ski valley. The next time you choose to visit Taos Ski Valley we hope that you will choose to stay with us again and we could offer you a few other recommendations for breakfast. Cafe Naranja, which is within the Edelweiss Hotel offers a great breakfast (although more expensive than $5) and opens at 7:30am instead of 8:00am. We greatly appreciate your business though and look forward to welcoming you back again in the future!

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your recent stay with us at Alpine Village Suites! Since we are only designated 18 parking spots, parking can sometimes be a bit tricky. That said, next time you choose to stay with us we would be more than happy to park your car for you to eliminate that added stress. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon!
