Staff AMAZING! Hotels.com dropped the ball.

I booked my stay in April. Hotels.com was apparently notified in mid-August that the hotel was overbooked and my reservation was cancelled. Hotels.com did not notify me. I went to check in and my reservation was not there. The hotel had a specific record of when it notified Hotels.com. I had emails from Hotels.com saying “your upcoming trip!” as recently as 2 days before. My app showed the reservation as current and today. Luckily the hotel had INCREDIBLE customer service. They were totally sold out. Except… they had something else they could offer. It was a last resort. The whole town was sold out so it was this or sleep in the car. It was a conference room with a sofa bed. They brought in a roll away so my aunt and I didn’t have to share a bed. The staff was amazing!!!!! Hotels.com was not.

NEVER GO BACK; ELEVATOR OUT OF SERVICE AND RUDE CLERK LADY, JUST A BAD EXPERIENCE,MANAGER INCOMPETENT TO HELP We arrived by 2 pm I explain the clerk lady who nearly can stand up straight ( she needs to retire.) we came for a wedding starting at 3pm we call ahead for1hour early checking she denied our request claiming check in is a 3pm we understand until the lady in front of us got her room right away I ask again the lady and the manager just give me any available room she raise her voice I just told you not available rooms when the parking lot was half empty she just keep interrupt me when I was speaking. I got forced to change in the parking lot in my car at the end, they gave me a room was not for me. The TV keep saying welcome Eileen. My name is not Eileen., tv control never work They gave me a room on the fourth floor knowing the elevator is not working. Free breakfast was cold and horrendous salty potatoes only few links they took away the muffins before my wife try one, no eggs and counters messy cereals all over. Just advice for the administration try to accommodate and understand your customers every customer needs different requests.
