The room needs to be refurbished. The cover on the air conditioner was falling off. The thermostat for the air & heat was not set up as of yet. One handle on the desk chair had a chuck of rubber torn of of one of the arms. The cord for the phone keep disconnecting from the phone. In the bath room they patched up the wall but didn't re paint.
We had 3 separate reservations at this hotel. 2 of the 3 rooms were not clean when we went to them. Not clean as is beds were stripped and pillows stacked up on chairs. Doors standing open. And it was 10pm at night. We left. Still trying to get refund.
Very clean and well kept.
There were no breakfast foods juices or coffees. Trash cans were full. Elevators need vacuumed. Very poorly maintained

I understand with Covid 19 going around thing are not always the same. I do not recall reading that for the free breakfast it would be a choose of oatmeal, a breakfast bar, bagel with cream cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit,apple, orange, banana, and orange juice. I was very upset because I have to watch my sugars or I get very sick. So the only thing I could eat was the fresh fruit which I got a banana and the bagel with cream cheese. They really need to think about the choice because I'm not the only one that can eat certain foods. We paid the extra to stay the for the breakfast and the hot tub. Which we could not use due to the water being freezing cold. I even asked at the front desk when checking in about the pool and hot tub and they never said a word about it not working or heating the water. Until I went to the front desk to ask about it. In Dubuque IA there is a few different place im sure to get the part. I was very disappointed.

The room was as clean as expected for a hotel. It was nice they still offered breakfast to go during the pandemic. It was nice and quiet in the room with the exception of the doors of other visitors. The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly.
Had a pleasant overnight stay here. Check in was efficient and safeguards such as plexiglass dividers and hand sanitizer were in the lobby. We were even given a handout about the cleaning procedures used. The room was clean and the bedding was very comfortable. The hotel is a short 10-15 drive from the downtown area and has several restaurants within walking distance.

I am upset with Orbitz. On the website they said it was $10 per dog, thus why we choose to stay at this property. It ended up being $25, not $10. I hope orbitz makes this right and reimburses me the $15
