Great access to train station & local pubs with live music was our biggest like. Biggest dislike was the level of street noise in our room. Best to bring earplugs if that's something you're sensitive to.

Full service hotel; good location; very helpful staff Problems in toilet - flush prob (was fixed); bowl on top of counter-type sink leaked from the bottom where attached to the counter (not fixed).

The main restaurant and bar area was excellent they were always friendly and remembered us when we went in. Our main gripe was with the staff at the main check in counter. We first were given a room that was not fully cleaned but we went down and told them and they sent the head cleaner up to verify we were telling the truth like we were lying. She was great and very apologetic and extremely nice she took care of us and moved us to another room which also had much better air conditioning. We also had an issue of were our key cards would not work everyday and they would need to fix that which was annoying. I would take it up there every day and they would not even take responsibility for the issue they would say we were doing something to make them not work. We had three keys and none would work that was a bunch of B.S. every person in our group was doing something wrong. Other than the front desk people, it was great nice area near Connolly street and easy to grab a taxi. I would stay there again just for the area and everyone other than the front desk was nice and courteous who evert manages that area needs to do some training. This hotel would be comparable to Courtyard Marriott in the states.

Hotel is clean and within walking distance to many sites/attractions. Plenty of dining options within walking distance as well. We were not in the rooms for most of the days but noise from the train station was never a huge issue.

Its in a great location, just across the street from the train station and LUAS stop. The front desk people were professional and friendly. They explained my upper floor room didnt have an elevator for that part of the hotel. They offered to take my luggage up but I did it anyways. The floors in the hallway and my room/bathroom were slightly sloped. It was actually funny in a strange way. The bed was a little too hard. I loved the sauna by the workout room. Some strange alarm would go off in my room for a few seconds, this happened 3 times in 2 days. All in all, not a bad stay, but not a great one for the somewhat pricey rate.

Updated, modern, comfortable rooms. Hotel was in walking distance from many destinations. Some people complained about train noises, however we did not find it very bothersome (low in pitch, no ringing sounds, etc.). Staff was friendly and held our luggage when we arrived early.

No on site parking is a challenge & no safe drop off zone

The hotel was amazing in all aspects except for the fact that my room wouldn’t get cold at all the temperature was not as good as it could’ve been .. service was aweosme and food was amazing highly recommended

Close to everything, Custom House,Trinity College, Temple Bar, cathedrals, only a few minutes away. Exceptional staff, never too busy to take time to help with maps and suggestions. Impressive breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to return to Ireland.

This hotel was just amazing, the rooms are beautiful and we were treated like royalty.

Hotel was very clean. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were in the new addition to the hotel and were very nice and up to date. Shower was amazing!

After experiencing some difficulties with internet connections upon arrival, the management moved us to an upgraded suite the following day and went out of their way to make the rest of our stay special.

Nice cozy hotel with pleasant staff. I liked the sense of security that was present during after hours.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Had some issues with WiFi and they were right on it. Got us a new room. Very friendly and willing to help. Very cool to stay in a hotel that is referenced in a James Joyce novel!

We stayed for one night at the North Star before catching our flight back to the states the next day. We had limited time, but were able to make the most of it as the concierge was very helpful about how to get to the places we wanted to see.

We arrived in the evening and we were given a room directly next to the lounge, directly across from the elevator (approx 10 feet away), and stairwell entrance. Every time someone entered the 24 hour lounge, the door would slam shut, every time the elevator would ding open and close it sounded like a door bell next to our bed, every time the stairwell was used we heard the steps before they opened the door and of course just like the steps of people walking to and from the elevator and lounge, we heard the steps afterward. It was not only the poor thought out location of the room but the walls were paper thin so I could hear conversations clearly in the lounge area as well as elevator entrance way. The hairdryer is inconveniently located and corded in the drawer above the refrigerator and was a big challenge to stretch up to my head as the cord is too short for the location it was placed. I am 5 foot 2 inches tall and I had to squat and bend my knees to dry my hair, so I can't imagine what normal height people would have to do dry their hair. I would say they would sit on the floor but alas that option is not available to them as well because the coiled cord is too short for that too. The room lights are motion censored so you can be in the bathroom and if you are still to long (like some people can be when using the facilities) you will be in the dark. This happened in the shower and inconveniently while some one else was using the throne, frustrating.

Unfortunately my room was located next to a train track and it was a frequently used one. All night long I heard one go by multiple times. I wish they had installed a noise blocking window. Also they didn't have an elevator/lift for the floor where my room one. Yes, it was only one storey up but carrying a heavy luggage up a long flight of stairs and having to navigate through a maze like hallway to get to my room is not what I want to do after a long day of traveling. The room was clean, bathroom was big, and the staff was friendly.

Hi, Thank you for staying with us. Sorry to hear of the issues you had with the room not being ready due to to early arrival and of course the frustration experienced with you room card. I am pleased that overall we came across as hospitable as this is absolutely the intention of all of us. Kind regards
