Courtyard by Marriott Dothan

The hotel is well decorated. The staff is friendly and the beds comfortable. It is in a safe location with a few restaurants close by. The problem? Maintenance. Below is an example of one problem I saw. Also some of the hallway lights are crooked. The pool area needs work. Too many chemicals in the pool and they should specify that it is not heated. For the price I would stay here again. I would have given 4 stars without The maintenance problems.

The staff was very friendly. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The pool was clean and clear however it is NOT heated. It was cold but the kids played anyway. It is in a good location with lots of restaurants near the hotel. The room is modern. Overall it was a good experience as I usually expect with a Marriott property.

the hotel itself is fine. the people nice. but it has issues - showing it was done on the cheap: 1. TV way too small - can't see from the room. 2. Gym equipment old 3. No newspapers - seriously - i knew this last time 4. my free platinum gift - they wouldn't honor tea, just coffee C'mon - this place - juist not for me. they aren't investing in quality. PS - they have bistro 2.0 - overpriced. Fortunately you can get a reasonably priced breakfast next door at Atlanta Bread Co. Lots of restaurants nearby.

It's a little hard to find in the dark, in the rain, but it's next to the Office Max. It's a Courtyard, so the room was fine, bed was fine. Whoever was running the Bistro disappeared, so I ended up going to Publix for my salad. The management should consider replacing the carpet in the one elevator, or at least shampoo it. It was, well, disgusting. I would probably stay here again if I had to go to Dothan, but this is clearly in the lower quartile of Courtyard properties.

Had a quick one night business trip stay. Hotel has been updated and was nice & clean. I would stay here again if traveling to Dothan. I did not have time for breakfast so I can’t comment on that. The hotel sits back off of a main road.

friendly and courteous staff. Hotel is set back away from the main road. indoor pool is great. exercise area well equipped. The Bistro area is small, however it is nice and quite. There was an unfortunate family medical issue with the key person behind the Bistro counter one morning. One of the housekeeping staff stepped in to take over that morning and did a good job under the circumstances. I do not recall her name. She deserves a Very Well Done.

Was visiting town for the first time. I couldn’t be more pleased with the exceptional staff!!!! Special thanks to Tracy Wilson, Jauana Bennett and the general manager Bill!!! Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!!!!

An older Courtyard but appears to have been redecorated within the past few years. Located beside Office Max (Turn in here to get for hotel which is behind an old Taco Bell and Shoney's.) Mattress was extremely firm which made for an uncomfortable night. Take your own water bottle to exercise room as neither complimentary water is offered nor does the water fountain nearby work very well.

To Bill, Cheryl and Juwanna, thanks for all the great hospitality given to us at my cousin birthday over the weekend the accomadations were great and awesome that you kept our group together on one floor was amazing and being able to use tour meeting room for our meet and greet and the use of the lobby for our awesome tail gate gathering we could not ask for anymore and you all went out of the way to make sure everyone that came to the Holt event were treated well. And the rooms were so awesome.

After spending several hours in a car with 3 adults and 2 children, we arrived at the hotel for the night. I was greeted at the front desk by employee Jauana Bennett. She noticed that there were 5 of us and without my asking gave us a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper. This tired Grandma was very appreciative! One down side, the indoor pool wasn't heated, and it was too cool to use. Thank you Courtyard and especially Jauana Bennett!
