Slept like a baby. Nice and comforable. Quiet place to lay your head. Rooms were nice and comfy in size. Will definitely stay again. Being able to use my hilton honors points with cash made it even better
Clean rooms well maintained hotel. A friendly safe place for business or a family stay. Has nice swimming pool. Has nice rooms and amenities. Food is good in hotel but also close to lots of local places to eat. Shopping close by as well. I have stayed here several times and it is my go to place to stay if in the Dothan area. Convenient location easy to find and access.
Always a good choice for me. The lobby is clean and nicely decorated. The rooms are spotless. Nice size bathrooms. Staff very accommodating. Free Water at check-in. Nice toiletries. Linens were spotless as was the bedspreads. Plenty of towels, hand wash and bath,. Roomy Closets. Ample lighting. Nice breakfast. Coffee in the room as well. Refrigerator and Microwave in the room too.
The hotel in Dothan, AL was just what we needed after being on the road all day. It was quiet and clean. And not very far from the I-10 corridor which we try to avoid. And the following morning, it was a short jaunt to highway I-10. I would stay at this hotel again in a hot minute.
We only spent one night as we we’re traveling back from Florida Dothan is the half way point, the only problem we had were that the bed was way to hard and the pillows were way to soft At first I thought they were feather pillows
The clerk at the check-in desk could not have been more welcoming. Morning breakfast can be buffet. Or for a couple of dollars more, you can order whatever you’d like. Amy was my cheerful, attentive server. The rooms are clean and neatly appointed. Even close to the elevator, my room was quiet.
No problems with checking or checkout process. Room was clean and comfortable. I liked the Kuerig coffeemaker in the room. My only problem are the pillows. Need something a little firmer. Location was perfect for my stay!!!
While moving from Arkansas to Florida we decided to stop at this location to break up the long drive. Not knowing where we would be stopping along the route of our trip, we didn't have reservations so we knew it would be a 50/50 shot of getting a room when we arrived around midnight. Although the hotel wasn't really designed to handle a truck pulling a Uhaul trailer, you could park on the road between the two Hilton type hotels if needed. The hotel staff made our arrival as painless as possible by quickly getting us checked into the hotel and into a room where we could rest up for the final leg of our move to Florida. The room was very clean and everything was in working order as expected. When we woke up the next morning, we went down for breakfast and the staff asked us if we had eaten in the hotel before. When we indicated no, they explained that everything that was out was classified as the cold breakfast bar which included all cold items and DIY waffles. The hot breakfast was a little more but it allowed for you to do eats to order along with the option of bacon, biscuits, and gravy. Once we finished up breakfast, we packed up and headed out to our final location.
When checking in, I was told that the hotel did not have any 1 bedroom suite that I requested as an upgrade even though there were pictures on the hotel website and I had an email confirmation. There was hardly ever any one at the front desk and there was usually a guest there needing help or to check in or out. The bar/restaurant staff did not all have the same training. We ordered beers at happy hour and the person working that area acted like she was doing us a favor. Overall not a great Hilton Garden experience.
Upon arrival, when attempting to check in, my daughter and I were met with a sign that said the concierge was assisting another guest and would be back in a moment. My daughter went to go use the restroom and on her way there she saw the concierge, named Jericha, having a smoke break outside. Now, maybe another guest needed help lighting up, but I found this to be extremely unprofessional. When she finally came to the desk she neglected to greet me as a diamond member. We arrived at the hotel pretty late, probably around 6:30 or 7. Which feels an hour later for us, seeing that we are from Tallahassee, so my daughter and I were exhausted from a long day of driving and went straight to our rooms. My daughter got to her room and found the toilet to be out of order. As exhausted as she was, she just ignored it and went to sleep. The following morning I told the front desk about it. Without as much as an apology the concierge said "you should have told us last night." So this is my fault now? I even pointed out the hotels "100% satisfaction guarantee."Other than these two issues, the stay was okay. I had a meal at the restaurant downstairs and it was fast and tasty. Not my usual Hilton Garden Inn experience, but it did the job for one night.
