We evacuated for Hurricane Irma and this Residence went above and beyond the call of duty to help us. There were four adults, one child, and one dog temporarily displaced during the storm and we could not have found a nicer place to stay. The staff was phenomenal from the Front Desk, to Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Breakfast staff. They were smiling and friendly as we all worried about our homes, properties, and things we could not control. They allowed our children to be children in the lobby area, handed out crayons, paper, anything to keep them happy. I would stay at this property again if I were to go to Dothan again and I would highly recommend the property to anyone in the area.

As evacuees from Florida during Hurricane Irma, we had initially stayed in Tuscaloosa for a few days. Returning home on September 15th, we were so fortunate to have found the Residence Inn, Dothan for two nights. Having a dog is quite difficult when traveling at any time. The stress of this trip was incredibly hard on us and our dog. The staff here was far above any we have encountered. They were always very friendly, helpful and concerned. Although anxious to return to our home, we were so appreciative of the treatment we received, the clean, lovely suite on the first floor and the overall hospitality of all staff members. Thank you!

Got here at 7:33pm and had to walk through a cloud of smoke. Grilling and smoking area at the front door. Not convenient parking or entrance to building. I would never do this again. Smelly, old and dirty.

We stayed for one month, and enjoyed our time VERY much. Everyone was so friendly, and made us feel like we were at home! We had a two-year-old, and the space was great for him, and we had easy walking access to stores like Barnes and Noble where he could play. The front desk staff were always helpful and sociable. The hot breakfast was delicious, diverse, and well-stocked...kudos to all the cooks, especially Jennifer. Housekeeping checked in with us regularly and kept our apartment impeccable...special thanks to Keisha and Wanda! Our only complaint was hearing considerable noise above us on some nights.

I stayed at this hotel twice for over 30 days each, I felt like I was at home because of the a wonderful staff and excellent amnesties. Their cooks provide Best grits in the business and the housekeeping crew are very courteous and professional. I will not hesitate to come back and stay again, number 1 on my list. Special kudo's to Assistant Manager Tiffany and the cafeteria crew.

We stayed 5 nights in two bedroom suite. The service was as good as I've seen anywhere. Front desk staff was great. Millie and Jennifer was outstanding. Definitely would stay there on future visits to the area.

The mixer meals are interesting, this evening's meal preparation was especially appealing and inviting, the staff is always warm and friendly, almost family like, they make you so welcome. The Lounge area is comfortable neat and clean, the dinning area is quite large modern and comfortable.

Stayed seven nights with the good folks at Residence Inn. On the first day of our stay while traveling to The Residence Inn we were involved in an automobile accident. The gentleman struck our SUV and pretty much totaled it. Thank God myself,my husband and our two precious grandchildren were not hurt. When we made it to the hotel and talked with the desk clerk she was gracious and concerned. From check in to check out every one that worked at the hotel asked each time they saw us how every one in the family was feeling and asked if they could help in anyway. True southern hospitality. Our room was comfortable, clean and the grounds were well kept and the pool clean and comforting to relax in at the end of each day . We travel to Dothan a couple of times a year and we will always stay at Residence Inn.

Room 312 was clean and attractive. Really appreciated the kitchen with a full size 'frig, dishwasher, microwave, & toaster. An adequate amount of dishes and cookware are provided if you want to cook in the room. The room was L-shaped with the kitchen, table for 2, desk, pull-out sofa, chair, and coffee table in the long part of the L and the king bed with a nightstand and table in the short part of the L. There was a dresser with the TV on top that separated the two areas. The TV could be turned so it could be watched from the living area or bedroom area. The bathroom was separated into an area with the sink and closet then a door led into the bathtub/shower and toilet area. There were plenty of storage places as well as towel bars in the bathroom. The only possible downside is the sink area is not separated by a door so the light can't be blocked from the bedroom. The (included in the price) breakfast was very good with quite a variety of choices. Outside there is a small pool plus another sitting area with a barbecue. The hotel looks fairly new inside (or it's been upgraded) and the staff was very professional. It is located close to restaurants and shopping. The only problem I had was I could not connect my computer to their wifi, my phone worked as well as my husband's computer so I suspect it was something on my end. But I was able to get an ethernet cable so it worked out fine.

they have VERY NICE ELEVATORS. they are like new they have very nice carpet flooring. love the celing. looks like a luxurious extended stay hotel. love it!!! I would stay here forever if i would have to.
