Actually a very clean motel! Cheap! Idk about these other reviews but this hotel was very good! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a quick sleep! Wow! I was expected trash but I got a quality motel
While moving my van broke down and we had to stay in a hotel. Adams Inn was across the street from where the car broke down. We checked in and the rate was $15 more than advertized because it was for 2 people. Our bathroom was filthy, there were no soaps, hand towels, etc. The refrigerator was rusted. And when I woke up I was covered in bed bug bites. IT was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.
I don't know how long ago this motel was reviewed last. The reviews that I saw were really bad. I stayed here two years ago and this motel was the pits. It was a roach motel. This isn't the case now. Since my last visit, this motel has gotten a really good remodeling. There is a larger office building with breakfast. The room was really nice, clean, and modern. Very comfortable bed. Large flat-screen tv. Too many channels to surf through. Wifi signal very strong. Bathroom was redone and very clean. Checkers next door.
Never ever ever ever, as long as you live, stay at, drive by, or even Google Adams Inn. This place it's disgusting. The shower wall was detached. Basic science, moisture + dark area + warmth =mold. I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't any black mold In that open area. The room is Dusty, rusty and crusty. It was so much dust my allergies bugged me the moment I walked into the room. I gladly checked out, not worried about the monies I prepaid. Overall review Gross. Stay anywhere but here.
This place is so ghetto and scary and the room is filthy. The place was full of trucks so we thought it must be a decent place with so many people staying here, but it was all drink construction workers. They all were walking around with beer and blaring music and hollering at each other from room to room in spanish. SO SCARY. On top of everything the rooms were beyond disgusting. I was too terrified and disgusted to sleep. Not to mention the blood on the wall.....
The motel was filthy and nasty. Plus when we told the owners that we got scabies from this motel and was going to contact the health department; they said go ahead and call who you want to call or get a lawyer. Very rude personnel and facility. My dad and family went to the hospital and was pronounced they were infested with scabies from this motel. Please check the bed linen, shower linen, sheets, and etc. They lied to get my family's money. My dad and family stayed there in room 125 for 4 days before he notice the rash on his daughter's and son's back and arms. Then it spread to there face. I am going to contact the health department as soon as they open up Monday morning and plead my case and show them our hospital visit at Flowers in Dothan. They are very rude owners and management. Please check out before paying any money to stay there. It might seem like a good deal but it is bad disguise if you are not careful.
Before anyone decides to go to Adams Inn in Dothan Alabama room 112 ,please, please, think twice. When we walked into our room the walls were chip with cracks, old torn dirty chair, broken bathroom window taped with plastic bag and blue tape, bed that felt like sleeping on rocks, dirty white shower curtains w/molds and dirty white tub. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I am normally one to post a review if I have good things to say. In case my experience was just an anomaly I hate the idea of posting a bad review. Let me start by saying that the owners were very nice...nevertheless...DO NOT stay here. I'm not a picky person and I'm not even going to mention run-down conditions because even run-down motels and hotels can be clean. This place was filthy. It looked like people had been putting out cigarettes on the walls. I think there was some blood on the wall too. I have posted pics but I dont know if they came across good enough for you to see. The kind of stuff I'm talking about could probably be wiped off and then they could cheaply give the walls a coat of pain once in a while. I think it's obvious they just don't care. The bedspread was disgusting. I removed it ever so gently and thank God I brought my own blanket for travelling in the car...I had to use it. If it werent so cold out I would have just cut my losses and slept in my car. Their website is so decieving. I saw it and everything looked so great like an old style charming motel. I figured it would be old fashioned but clean. I took a shower wearing my shoes because I didnt want my feet to touch any surface of this place. The carpet is stained with God knows what and the whole place stinks. Pay an extra 5 bucks and stay somewhere else. The price and their website lured me. Please dont let this happen to you. Dont let me forget to mention that I was concerned I might not make it through the night, if you know what I mean. It's pretty seedy around here. I'm from out of town and didnt know. I dont know who is posting any positive reviews on this place. Please consider the date I wrote this review...who knows...maybe there is new ownership. And...you're welcome.
