Mitchell's Lodge And Cottages

family with 2 little ones and loved it!

We felt so cared for here. The people were nice, breakfast was delicious and for a rustic cabin in the woods it was great that there were working tvs, refrigerators, coffee makers and microwaves in the rooms. Beautiful scenery , friendly staff, clean, and centrally located. This will be our future vacation stop. Amazing prices!!

Kingwood Resort

Beautiful quite area

Beautiful area quite nice golf course. Rooms were redecorated however there was still a quaintness about knowing they are older. Rooms had a fridge and nice sized balcony. Would love to return for a longer stay. One night was definitely not enough to explore the area.

Mountain Valley Inn Dillard

Everything was almost perfect!

The location of this place is really great as far as accessibility for sight seeing! We saw Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina in one day! The staff was very friendly and as helpful as they could be! The windows in our room didn't lock, however, they are hard to open so it wasn't really an issue for us. The only problem we had otherwise was that the Microwave didn't work. I not only would recommend this hotel to a friend, I plan on going back and staying there again the next time we go! It was a clean, cute, quaint, little place in a beautiful location! On a side note, there is a pizza place in the plaza next door called Moon Pie and it has the best pizza I've had in many years! I can't wait to go back!

Microtel Inn by Wyndham Franklin

Non smoking hotel that reeks of smoke

Booked the hotel because it's non smoking well that must have been very recent. The entire second floor still smelled like smoke. We asked to be moved because the first room was horrible. The bathroom sink had cigarette burns all over the edge. The second room was not as bad but I still went out and bought air freshener. The mattress and bedding even smelled of smoke. There were stains on the bed ruffle and shower curtain. Our pajamas even smelled of smoke the next day. Thankfully we were only booked for one night. If I could have gotten out of staying the first night we would have left. Really bad experience.
