Hotel was very comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful for all the needs we had. It has a nice breakfast and was convenient to get around the city in terms of location. I would definitely stay there again.
Friendly hotel staff, clean and comfortable rooms.
Hyatt Place Detroit/Utica is a great place to stay. Every experience was a positive one. The customer service is exceptional, the staff friendly, the rooms spotless, and comfortable. I not only recommend it, I will stay here again on all future visits.
The only thing I didn't care for is that the doors on the rooms close loudly. Everything else was great! No complaints.
very pleasant, the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a good value.
We have been to this hotel a couple times. The staff is great, and we love the extra space in the room, and the area.
I was impressed and pleased with the hotel, I would recommend to anyone staying in the Utica area..
The ropm was clean, but there were ants in the bathroom and under the air conditioner, tiny little ants. Was told they would spray after we left. The closet was so small it was difficult to hang anything in it and there were only 3 drawers for two people. The carpet was stained . There was a small fridge but no microwave. They had dry cleaning available but no laundry facilities. The staff were friendly and helfpful. The location was great.
Room was more than expected. King with sofa bed and plenty of room. Clean roomsand area. Breakfest was good. Only drawback was fighting over one tv. definitely recommend for value and location
We attended family events and this hotel was close to those events. The room was very clean, and very quiet. The front desk staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We used their food service and found the sandwiches to be of excellent quality. My son loved the cinnamon rolls. The breakfast provided was sufficient, with the option to purchase larger entrees, which is nice.
Whenever my wife and I go to Detroit we stay at the Hyatt in Utica. We don't mind driving a little out of our way for the comfortable stay we look forward to. We love the location. It is close to several restaurants and shopping. The staff is helpful and pleasant and we have literally never had any issues. No matter what we are in town for we will continue to stay here. Keep up the great work!
Nice room, good size. Friendly staff
stayed in this immediate area several times in the past few years; this was the best hotel we have stayed at out of all of them
No problems with the room or service, but got stuck paying for 3 nights when our travel plans changed and we had to leave earlier than originally planned. Cost about $350. For this reason I would urge caution to travelers considering the Hyatt Place in Utica, MI.
The front desk cleark was very nice and freindly. The room was beautiful and clean.
Had to work during the day but had the family come and stay for the night. We watched a movie on the big screen TV - we brought our HD DVD player and connected right up to their HDMI inputs for the TV - quiet and comfortable. Played in the pool in the morning after a nice breakfast.
We took 23 high school runners on an overnight trip. The hotel and especially its staff were unbelievably accomodating and courteous. We (and the 23 teens) were treated wonderfully and the help we received with all of our requests was wonderful. EXCEPTIONAL staff and service...thank you
My expierence was great! The hotel staff was friendly and the location was perfect i could walk everywhere!
Apparently there were some activities involving teenagers in the area. They, unfortunately, do not stay in hotels often and do not understand proper etiquette. The staff was friendly and professional. The parking was inadequate.
The hotel looked average from the outside. But, beautiful when we walked in,like a special boutique hotel. The front desk had deep wood and granite counter and the staff was very kind and welcomming. Once we arrived in our room it was very large with a great working desk. The couch was a huge sectional and there was a big screen TV that you could watch from either the bed or the couch. The hotel had a nice continental breakfast and if you wanted hot foods you could order them at a very reasonable price. You could also walk to other restaurants outside the hotel. If you have kids the Dave and Buster Restaurant/entertainment center was right behind. This is in a nice suburban area, and not a resort but it certainly has alot of things to do. We would definetly stay again. We will look for the Hyatt Place hotels when we travel again.
