The room was spotlessly clean & the comforter/sheets/pillows all had a fresh smell. That was welcoming! The staff was exceptional. Every day! The little bar & bar food was great. Why did I four star this review? The pool was not accessible due to high volume of screaming kids. (Maybe adult hours?) Our first night, beyond the cold air pouring into the room vent because of super high winds, the room above us was extremely loud and sounded like some sort of construction most of the night. Weird. Our second morning, we went to breakfast at 9:10 and the buffet was already torn down. Other than that its an awesome stay!

The staff were so welcoming, warm, and kind to my sister and I; we were traveling with 5 kids on NYE! The hotel is new and super clean, and the kids had so much fun at the pool. The hotel is an ideal location close to Legoland and Great Lakes Crossing, so going back and forth was easy. Our rooms had a mini kitchen which was handy for quick snack prep. The room was spacious with a huge island and the sofa bed was perfect for the kids. We enjoyed it stay so much that we extended our stay by a day.

Rooms were nice, bed was comfortable, shower was big and spacious, breakfast was good. Parking was absolutely awful. We had to park in back of build and walk around the entire building in the winter weather to gain access to thea entrance of hotel. I requested a shower stool and none were available.

When we got to our room, we pulled out the hide-a-bed for the kids and all that was on it was a dirty mattress cover with (what we determine later as) an old blood stain on it. There were also several dead bug husks on it as well. I went down and told the front desk and they made a note in the computer for housekeeping. After we got back to our room the next evening, the mattress cover had not been changed. In fact, the whole room hadn’t been touched. The main bed was still in disarray and garbage was still in the bins. I went back down to the front desk and talked to Ari and she actually showed me the message in the computer for housekeeping. Another day came and went and on the third evening when we came back to the room, the main bed was made yet the gross mattress cover was still on the mattress. I’m livid at this point. I go down and speak with Ari again and she calls the manager and the manager tells her to do it. And she said she’d be down momentarily and she was. By the end of our stay there were 7 coffee mugs in the sink, the toilet had stopped working properly and the bathroom had flooded due to a leak underneath the sink.
