Loved the convenience to the outlet mall. Beds were very comfortable, room was very modern and clean. Staff brought a crib to room upon check in and she even let my 3 year old program his own room key which he thought was the most amazing thing ever! This was our first family vacation with the kids and this hotel made it a very enjoyable experience.
Excellent. Thank you for the accomadations, we had a wonderful time. Really appreciate that all of our rooms were together on the same floor and on the same side and two of each adjoining. Thank you so much!!!. Big kudos go our to Matt
I want to say what a wonderful hotel and excellent staff we had here on our stay. The rooms are very clean, the staff is so helpful and friendly and the complimentary breakfast is very good. I wish I could remember all the staffs names that we dealt with but I remember the young man we dealt with when checking out, his name is Matt. Our visit wasn’t planned. Our golden retriever had to have emergency surgery at Blue Pearl Hospital. The staff at the hotel had our room ready early as we were from out of town. We could not pick her up until 1:00 pm the next day and we were able to get a extended stay for checkout with no hesitation from this wonderful staff at Holiday Inn Express. Thank you from our family and our Daisy made it through her surgery well.
Stayed here for a weekend get-a-way with family. Hotel is located right beside Great Lakes Crossing. Very nice for the shoppers in the family that can just walk over to the mall accross the parking lot. The hotel itself is re-modeled and they did a nice job. Very clean and nice size rooms. We thought the morning breakfast was quite good. It isn't a restaurant and people should not be expecting a made to order meal. They had toast, muffins, fruit, cereal, pre-made omellets, pancake machine, sausage, bacon, etc. All in all pretty good. We stayed two night and each morning was a little different. Hotel staff was very friendly. Only issue we had was the hot tub was removed prior to our visit. Main reason we chose this hotel. They should have told us this happened or was going to at time of booking. Hotel website still had the picture and reference to there being a hot tub. We would stay here again.
I'm a seasoned traveler and usually don't get very good treatment around the Holidays, but that was definitely NOT the case with Jeanette on a very busy day near a very busy shopping center! I liked the updated rooms and the other amenities, however it was Jeanettes's friendly attitude that actually made a difference!
Matt and the entire staff were great, we kept them very busy helping 45 eager shoppers on our bus trip! They were all so friendly and helpful. This was our 8th annual trip to this hotel and everyone was planning for next year on our way home! The rooms were beautiful and the breakfast to start our busy day was perfect!
Nice and clean hotel. Room and the bathroom were clean and very comfortable. Hallways were also clean. Front desk people helpful with the smile on face. Breakfast was very good. I strongly recommend this place. RomanP
Excellent! Staff are AMAZING! Day staff, afternoon staff, night staff outstanding! Fresh cookies delivered to our room! I misplaced my phone and the night staff not only checked my vehicle for me, but brought it to our room with a smile! We stayed 4 days and 3 nights, we were sad to check out! Highly recommend this location!!!
Overall, a nice 1 night stay on a weekend. The updated room was clean and comfortable (except maybe the fancy toilet seat which was hard, creaky cheap feeling plastic) They were able to accomodate my request for a quiet room on the top floor as we were given a room at the end of the hall away from the elevator. Did not hear any hallway noise. Walls were a bit thin so could hear the neighbors conversation but fortunately it wasn't loud, disruptive. Did also hear a bit of road noise since our room's view was of the i-75 on ramp and highway. Breakfast was standard but appreciated the complimentary bottled water in the lobby. Lobby could use a face lift as it was kind of plain in comparisons to other HIE properties I've been too. If in town again, I would definitely consider returning for another stay.
I stay at allot of hotels but on my last Michigan trip, this one was the most comfortable. Best Pillows and Bed. I had the best sleep. I stayed at the Hampton Inn beforehand, which I have no complaints about but switched for the better rate and ended up dropping my phone in the parking lot. This Holiday Inn Express I found to have a better walk in rack rate than booking online with Expedia.
