Greektown Casino Hotel

Besides fitness center, hotel had NO amenities. Not even vending machines. No frig./ microwaves in room. Not many TV channels. I paid a resort fee when booking. When i checked in, i was charged again, at a higher rate. I went to Detroit alone to see a show at the Fox Theater, and stayed a few days, just to get away and relax. It was annoying to be on the 21st floor, and have to leave the hotel all the time, just to get food and drink. There was no breakfast or even free coffee in the hotel. (just coffee in room.) The area just had a street full of very crowded bars and eateries at night, full of noisy cars, motorcycles and people. The small "markets" were not open in the morning to get juice or snacks. Hotel claimed to be closest to Fox Theater, but there were a few other places, just as close, that would have been better to stay at. The few things i would have liked to have done, were out of business.

I would highly recommend this hotel because of reasonable pricing, accessibility to People Mover, nice size fitness center and the room comfort! You will not regret your stay here and you will have lots of food options within a very short walking distance. Only caution that I would offer is to watch out for free parking. It is truly free and it is very convenient but, maybe, because it is also a casino parking, people are not as kind to opening their doors carefully. Given that our stay was over five nights, our car ended up with quite a few nicks and scratches (I counted close to 20). Short stay over night, should be no problem but, if I were to stay there long term again, I may just spend a few extra $ for valet parking or park free but as high and as far away from the elevators as possible...

The view was fantastic, the room was nice, the people where great and it was very convenient being right there by the casino. I had a great time.

Best experience ever I’m going back next weekend with my family & friend

Girls weekend, had a great time. Nice to be able to stay close to our hotel and still have a choice of places to go to around the area.

Nice location. Amazing staff always ready to help. The door of the room is not isolated. Can hear people talking, doors of the other rooms. Noisy A/C / ventilation system. Bad breakfast.

Greektown hotel is centrally locate and within walking distance of restaraunts, music venues and sporting events. Hotel staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean and comfy!!

The hotel was nice and staff was too. The fire alarm went off 3 times over night. 2 of the 3 times I had to walk down 16 flights of stairs. They gave me a free breakfast that I couldn’t eat because I had to leave by 6. Never will stay there again.

Stayed down there for the Guns’N Roses concert. Check in was easy, within walking distance of the venue, and surrounded great activities.

Highly recommend the Greektown Hotel/Casino. We had a great room with a beautiful downtown view of Detroit. We used the People Mover station at the Casino to get to areas farther than we wanted to walk. such an enjoyable and easy stay. Attended a Red Wings game and enjoyed using a Free Greektown shuttle.

Nice rooms, mini bar if you feel the need. Nice shower setup, (Above average) super comfy sheets on a great mattress great pillows.im emailing them to find out what pillows and sheets they use.

Had a great overall experience at this hotel. It is centrally located and within walking distance to many attractions such as the casino, bars, and restaurants. Hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and pleasant. Only complaint we had was the tremendously slow valet service. We had to wait almost 20 minutes each time. However this service was free so I guess one can’t complain too much.

The staff was so nice and made us feel welcome and the hotel is great

We stayed on the 24th floor and had a beautiful view of the city. Our room was clean for the most part, except for the floor which was oddly sticky. The room was a tad small, but we only stayed one night, so it wasn't much of an inconvenience for us. The king bed was very comfortable and no noise, we slept great. As always, great location in walking distance to bars and restaurants, and a Starbucks in the lobby area. We also received free hotel valet parking. Enjoyed our stay here, did not receive full 5 star due to the sticky floors.

There was trash under the bed and there was a crisis in the area where th e streets were blocked off. We called the hotel for help they didn't try to help us find a way to get there. They only said they could cancel our room but our bags were in the room all they said is I don't know. We aren't from the area but we finally found our own way over 2 hours later at 1 am. Thanks for nothing

Nice views from 21st floor corner room! Bathroom was beautiful; good water pressure and lovely bath products and robe. Partook of the of mini bar as prices were reasonable. Negatives: sheers off the hooks with burn holes and carpet looked soiled with several spots.

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. We had a great view of the city. You could walk to Comerica Park or Ford Field. You can go to the casino without going outside. There were plenty of places to eat in Greektown including Wahlburgers. The rooms were a great use of space and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again.

Need cameras on each floor to see who comes out the room make people feel safe that's when cuz when I was there someone took my money

Nice hotel and room. Didn't receive much info at check in. Housekeeping Team very friendly and helpful.

Hotel in a great location in Greektown with casino and walking distance to Ford Field and Comerica Park. Clean rooms with friendly and efficient staff.
