Quiet Neighborhood
Very clean place. Very nice cooperative owner. didn't realize it was a basement apartment. Longer to the convention center than I thought.
Only downside was being able to hear people walking around upstairs.

Lovely space
Had a wonderful visit in Denver over Thanksgiving. Apartment was clean and well equipped. We cooked a nice chicken dinner in the oven one night, in fact.
We did hear some noise above us but nothing too late at night or loud enough to keep us up. Loved the shower and never short on hot water. Great area, overall delightful experience!

Great Stay. Great Place. Great Owners!
I was in Denver recuperating from surgery and needed a place close to the hospital. Little did I realize that it was also close to everything wonderful! The Botanical Gardens, Denver Zoo, Cheesman Park, Cherry Creek Mall, grocery stores and dozens of wonderful places to eat! Many within walking distance! The downstairs apartment was so beautifully decorated, very cozy, stocked with all needed amenities, the bed and bedding were extremely comfy and we slept like logs! The owners were especially nice, responded in a timely manner and were easily accessible. If I could, I would come stay for a week every 3 months just to get away from it all! It's a wonderful couples hide-away or a girls get-away of which I'm looking forward to returning soon with my girls for some Holiday shopping, the Denver Zoo lights and some time away from the kitchen exploring the terrific places to eat near by.
The only thing one may need to be aware of is, that because the rental is located in the basement of a private home, it can be a bit noisy, sometimes at all hours of the day and night. I learned a long time ago to travel with ear plugs, so it was never bothersome. I rather enjoyed the pattering of little feet above and the sounds of a happy home!
Thanks Daniel and Jeana! Appreciated your hospitality and generosity! :)

Beautiful and comfortable but loud
This apartment was really lovely - well decorated with all the amenities (hair dryer, ironing board, books, magazines, games, kitchenware). There is a convenient parking space on the driveway and the location made it easy to either drive or walk to a number of places in the city. I'll reiterate that it is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated to be so welcoming. But I also have to warn other renters that this is a basement apartment, the family lives in the house above and you can hear everything. Walking/dogs running/cheering for football games/theme music to Game of Thrones and Stranger Things were all audible not only during waking hours but well past 1am. I think there was a party one night which made it even noisier and seemed to shut down the heating (either manually or because the number of people meant the temperature upstairs was much warmer than the basement). Luckily the bedroom had a heater that I ran to stay warm. Anyway, it's a great place to stay if you're not a light sleeper or also a night owl.

Beautiful space, great neighborhood
It's a beautiful space that's as well-stocked and well-appointed as any vacation rental I've ever seen, and it's within easy walking distance of two grocery stores (one a Whole Foods) and a fantastic restaurant (Potager). Keep in mind that it's a basement apartment with some noise from upstairs, but overall a great experience.

Extremely comfortable, the place is exactly as shown in pictures.
The host of the home are awesome, you even get a offstreet parking spot in the driveway. From this location you are able to walk to parks, grocery stores and more restaurants than I can count. My wife and our two small boys and I had a great time in the kid friendly Garden level apartment.
We enjoyed out stay in this large, beautifully renovated, comfortable basement apartment in the fabulous Cheesman Park location. Walking distance to park, groceries, coffee shops and restaurants. The owners were friendly and responsive.

The property was in a great location! We loved the proximity to cheesman park and the botanical gardens! It was also great having parking available at the house instead of having to hope for street parking.

Lovely apartment in a great neighborhood
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this lovely apartment. It is beautifully refinished and comfortable, and stays cool even in the 100-degree heat that Denver was blessed with during my stay. The neighborhood is casual, residential, and populated by a variety of folks, mostly aged 20- to 40-something, who can be seen walking dogs, pushing strollers, and hanging out at restaurants and parks. Whole Foods is two blocks to the west and a King Sooper is two blocks south, making it easy to walk for groceries. WaxTrax Records is a walkable few blocks to the northwest, and a few blocks beyond that gets you to the Civic Center / Library / Art Museum area in lower downtown. There is also of course Cheesman Park, just a few blocks east.
The family who own the apartment live upstairs; as a guest you may encounter them in the back yard and hear them inside the house, but the noise was never overly distracting and they never intruded on my privacy. There is a certain amount of traffic noise audible from inside the apartment (only extra-loud cars and motorcycles, for the most part) and one night the next-door neighbors had a loud evening party in their back yard, but this is of course to be expected living in close quarters in a large city. Even with these occasional noises, my three days in this apartment were far quieter and more peaceful than my previous stays in downtown Denver hotels. I highly recommend this apartment.
The only potential drawback is the low ceiling height. I am 6' 3" and there were a couple of spots where my head nearly (but didn't) hit the drop ceiling. If you are 6' 4" or taller, you'll have to duck your head between the living area and the bedroom. 6' 6" or taller, this is not the rental for you. :)
I'll definitely try to book this apartment again next time I'm in Denver! I liked it very much.
