We booked this location, knowing we'd pay a premium for being so close to the track on race weekend but the floor was dirty (bottom of a pair of socks was black), the furniture looked like it was second hand, the tv was small and did not offer HD channels so the signal was poor. The curtains were torn and soiled. The sheets appeared to be clean but we weren't certain they were. There was hair on the floor in the bathroom and we placed our dirty towels on the floor on top of the bath mat to come back and find the bath mat wet and on the side of the bathtub and only 1 replacement towel with no wash rags or hand towels. It was supposed to be non-smoking but you could smell smoke from time to time as well. We will be back for the 500 but we will never stay here again.
The room was lovely, like any other motel but clean, upgraded, and super nice. Bed was so soft we slept like babies. USB and plug outlets everywhere made it easy to charge our devises. We will definitely visit again. the price was right too.
I almost cried when I saw the room at this Days Inn. A piece of the headboard was broken off, there was dirt piled up on the floor below the tub, the finish on the tub was worn off, the chair had a big stain on the upholstery, the bed felt like the mattress was 25 years old, and the springs squeaked loudly when just sitting down on it. Oh, and the bathroom floor hadn't been washed in ages, the plastic tissue box had a 5 inch crack on it. We paid $250 per night to stay there! We were not told when or where to go for the breakfast so we missed it on the first day. We went on our second morning and it consisted of bread, oranges, waffles and coffee. We didn't stay for breakfast.
There was roaches an it was pretty expensive to be a low grade of quality of a room. Wish I could get my $178 back! It was Daytona 500 wknd so maybe that's why they were expensive, but it was the absolute last resort or leave town for a room an I was working the race so I couldn't. The floors were stinky I wouldn't allow my Babygirl to run around there at all.
We stayed there for the Daytona 500 and we will never stay there again. There was mold growing next to the air conditioner. When you turned the air conditioner on it smelt like mold. Also the wifi connection was terrible and the pool was not very attractive. There was only one light fixture with a bulb and the room was absolutely disgusting. For the price they charged us to stay there it was absolutely terrible.
I did not even stay the night, left after seeing the room. DIRTY ++++++++ Do not sat here DIRTY ++++ My room had dirt on the floor and it looked like a shack in the deep woods. Do not book or stay there.
Drove 16 hrs for a job interview and booked this hotel on line at first things were fine then we started having a cockroach problem after alerting yhe staff they said they were coming in from the outside is what the Exterminator told them( apparently we were not the first to have the issue) then on our final nite there we woke up to a big pool of water in our floor (4 foot circle) walked through it in the dark to the bathroom! Ugh😖needless to say we were not impressed 👎🏻
For the most part, I had a decent stay. M y only complaint was the air conditioner in my hotel room. That thing was extremely dusty, and dusty. Iwas sneezing all night, once that thing was turned on. Also the temperature controls were off, turn on hot, it's warm, turn on cold, it's not cold. Please get some new quality AC's.
The hotel was under renovation, but, had no impact and was kept clear for the guests. Rooms were godd, clean, and easy access. Great deal for price
This was by far the dirtiest motel we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was disgusting, mildew, and visible dirt on the floor. If we had not made the reservation for a stay of less than 8 hours, we would have just left. As it was we were on the road, checked in around 11 pm and left in the morning before 7. The breakfast was just bread items and drinks. We didn't expect much, but at almost $100 for the night we did expect a decent place to stay.
