When I arrived I was excited toil I seen no access to the beach and after I checked in the representative told me they served free breakfast from 6 am to 9:30 am I said ok perfect like I expected. The next morning when I got up to go get breakfast come to find out they didn’t offer that and it was a little shop where you had to pay for coffee and some other things so I had to leave to go find breakfast fo me and my family. I would not be booking there anymore when visiting Daytona.
Nice place. I thought a little pricey for it not being race season nor on the beach
We stayed just one night and everything was good for us.
The close proximity to Embry-Riddle School and the Airport made for an easy trip.
Very convenient while visiting my daughter who is a student at Embry-Riddle university
Staff, room comfort and cleanliness get 5 stars. Overall it was a good experience, I had a few technical issues that were immediately addressed by the staff; the only downside is breakfast is not included and last time I visited Daytona, I stayed in a nearby hotel which was also a great experience and it included a free hot breakfast for basically the same price.
This hotel was truly one of the best things I experienced about my trip. It has a great location, right by International Speedway where the shops, restaurants and mall are, and it is also less than a few blocks away from Embry-Riddle, which makes it the perfect hotel for parents sending their kids off to college there (which was why I was there). The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the market turned out to be very convenient since we didn't have to go out to get snacks. Only complaints I have were that the Wifi isn't that good; you can connect to it but that's about it. Also, the pool isn't as big as you think it but it's still the right size for swimming. All in all, I'm 99% positive I will stay here again next time I'm in Daytona.
This hotel was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and nice. The entrance was a little hard to find from the main road but other than that it was great!
Clean, comfortable hotel with a large, nice lobby-good for a family member who wakes up early.
the hotel is a very nice and clean place it was close to all the places i wanted to visit i would definately recommend this hotel to all of my relatives and friends visiting daytona
This hotel was very close to our YOGAfit workshop. I loved the Bistro and the front desk staff was fantastic!!
Leave hot tub and bar open later during special events
evrything was fine just stayed one night. Nice pool area
Hotel is located 4-5miles from the beach, away from the hustle + bustle of spring breakers (etc) YET centrally located if you want to take a road trip to Orlando, area attractions or other beaches along I-95. The location allows you to get away from the beach and venture more inland to discover what else Daytona Beach has to offer e.g. Speedway, restaurants, museums, etc. Proximity to Daytona Beach Airport is a definite PLUS for me and I definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers!
Room was not as spacious as I thought it would be, orignally reserved 1 King and Sleeper Sofa to accomodate 3 adults, glad one person cancelled -room would have been too small for 3 adults-worked well for two people, room was clean-problem-our room was near an eequipment/supply room-woke up twice in the morning by sounds of doors to those rooms opening and closing-other than that it was very quiet.Every staff person we talked to was very friendly, very helpful-I would stay again just because of them!
Super friendly greeting upon late arrival (almost midnight). Gentle prompt, asking if I needed a wake-up call (yes & so tired I forgot to ask). Super breakfast buffet. Comfy bed and soft towels. Right by the airport, but quiet. Great flat screen TV and comfy room.
We stayed one night on July 4, 2009 for race day festivities. Price was very high for race day $399 + tax, but given close proximity to track and free airport taxi, there was no need for rental car. Check in seemed to take forever because the one person at the desk (who was very friendly) was constantly interrupted by phone calls. Pool was very welcome on a HOT July day. Room was super clean and spacious, and bed was very comfortable. Room was very quiet, especially given the significant number of rowdy, drunken race fans. The morning breakfast buffet was about what you would expect for free from a $109 Hampton Inn, so the $10+ charge per person seemed uncalled for, given that we'd paid over $400 to stay there one night. That said, the positives outweighed the negatives, and I was generally pleased with my stay.
