The toilet was not working properly so i notified the front desk at first he said i gotta talk to a manager and the same guy came to my room and he said it is fixed now I tried to use it but no luck so I went back to from desk and asked to change room the guy said to me no and just tell the manager in the morning so I I spent the night in a same room with no toilet I spoke to the manager in the morning and he said to me sorry and he will give me ten percent off the next time , I couldn’t believe what I’m hearing I was charged full price

I rarely leave bad reviews but I must warn people of this place. Have no idea how it has a ‘wonderful’ rating!!! I will never stay here again! The room was disgusting the moment I walked in. There was a strong, overpowering musk/cologne smell that intensified when the ac kicked in. It gave me an intense headache after 5 minutes being there! The smell was so bad that it kept waking me up. Didn’t even know that was possible. After the 3rd time of being awoken, we left at 4am. The room was damp also. Even worse, it was discovered that my daughter had BED BUGS in her bed! With all of this I can honestly say this was the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Very nice property, very clean. The AC in my room wasnt great but it kept the room comfortable, it was very hit this particular weekend and the window was on the sun side of the building. I would stay here again if in the area.

Bad Mold Smell

There was a heavy mold smell in the room, tried another and it was the same. I had to check out of the hotel within 10 minutes of arrival because of my mold allegories. In addition, furniture was in poor condition with table dents and leather chairs are excessive peals. Mattress was very cheap in which you feel the springs and for people with back issues it will not be pleasant. Having said all of that front desk clerk was very nice.

Positives: Location - very convenient to PGBT & DNT, restaurants, grocery, gas, and shopping. Price - it's cheap, but you get what comes with that. AC was COLD! On the fence: Service - 5 Stars to the one gentleman who went above and beyond for me when I had a security issue. (While he couldn't show me, he checked security footage for me one evening when I had a concern I had been followed back to the hotel. I wasn't, & he gave me peace of mind.) Service - 3.5 Stars to the other front desk gentleman who let me back into my room about 3 times when I was constantly forgetting my key. I stayed for almost a week and I'm sure he got sick of it / started to expect it, but he didn't complain and kindly helped. However, when I had an issue with the mini fridge in the room and my food kept getting leaked on and ruined, the only help he offered was to come "wipe it down" and not actually fix the issue. I ended up with over $50 worth of food spoiled during my stay. Negatives: -No pool -No outside seating -Exterior door securtiy: the side entrance on the East side doesn't shut all the way on its own each time, you have to notice and pull it shut to make sure someone without a key can't enter. This was part of my security concern when I thought I may have been followed to the hotel one night.) -AC unit had a buzz / chirping, maybe a whole dang cricket in it that made sleeping very difficult. It was either leave the TV on with volume or listen to that chirp all night. -Mini fridge
