Aloft Las Colinas

Felt like a European hotel with different decor and layout from a lot of hotels. Staff were laid back and friendly. Seemed more geared towards couples looking for a getaway or business travel. Not so much for families. For example, there was a frosted window in the bedroom area where you could see through to whoever was in the shower. Overall it was an enjoyable getaway if you are adventurous and open minded. If you have a "easy breezy" go with flow mindset you'll be pleased. If you have preconceived notions of how a hotel should be and do not like "different", choose the norm. I enjoyed it and would visit again.

this hotel is awesome, everything was very clean and the design is great as well.

Room service did not service the room until we called and requested. We requested extra towels and never got them. We had to go down to the front desk to pick them up.

I really like the Los Colinas area in Dallas. The hotel was very modern and clean. My room was very simple and had all the essentials I needed for my stay. Although this hotel isn't downtown, I would stay here again.

It was overall great place to stay and beautiful!!

We always enjoy staying at Alofts. Las Colinas was by far the best location wise. We will definitely be back. The atmosphere is comforting n the staff always friendly. Not to mention the the great rate!

Staff remembers you on sight., Rooms are predictably clean updated and comfortable, Hip low frills hotel, very modern. Great for the business traveler. Close to good restaurants.

We really enjoyed the location of this hotel - right next to the highway and just minutes from great restaurants. It only took about 101-5 minutes to get to the uptown/downtown area too. The room was neat and clean, and the hotel had an upbeat, modern vibe. It was weird though - they don't have ice machines so each time we needed ice we had to ask the front desk to get it for us. Also, the food/coffee they sell is way overpriced and not that great. Walk to the end of the strip mall to the corner café. Cheaper and REALLY good food/coffee with plenty of healthy options.

Excellent for the price paid. Very quiet and lots of space.

Great location near the airport and good places to eat. This is a nice modern hotel with nice rooms. The bed could be a little better for this level of property.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. The rooms are modern looking. The shower had close to 0 pressure and there is no bathtub. On the 2nd we noticed the sheets were not changed and the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. To me one of the best things about going to a hotel vs a bed and breakfast is the service and the room cleaningness. We still enjoyed our weekend but a little disappointed with service and bar options.

The feel and layout of this hotel is very modern and clean. The location was great and the room was very nicely appointed. The media interface and loaner HDMI cables from the front desk were a nice touch. The only complaint was that the bed could use upgrading. They went with a platform design (no box spring), but the mattress obviously wasn't made for that use.

I booked one king bed but received two doubles. The front desk attendant was less than thrilled to check me and my fiancé into our room. Even when we tried to crack jokes we were glared at with disapproval. I love this hotel and this is not my first stay but this special occasion for Valentine's wasn't made to have the little extra to say, " hey feel free to come back anytime". I was displeased to say the least.

Trendy cool hotel. Needs a restaurant. Some snacks at bar.

great vibe very clean. Not a place i would bring a child though.

It was in a really great area that wasn't busy at all. I was bummed that I wasn't able to use WiFi throughout my whole stay because I had to pay after the first 24 hours. It was in a nice little shopping area so if you wanted something quick to eat, you could walk. It had an urban feel to it and is a great place for young people. Pool tables and accessible computers were for use in the lobby area along with the bar. Staff was good. Rooms were comfy and clean.

very comfortable and clean, not flashy or fancy with a great price

Everything was great except the movies I ordered wouldn't play; but I was reimbursed for that.

Fantastic location for me ....quick drive to downtowm dallas and LOTS of restaurants in a short distance. Totally quiet. Trendy atmosphere. Staff was nice and resolved something for me quickly and professionally. I was satisfied and would stay at this location or another aloft in the future. Great concept for a hotel.

A great price for a very modern and colorful feeling hotel. The front lobby alone is beautiful and very welcoming. The rooms have a very New York cozy feel to them. Kinda small for Texas standards but not claustrophobic. If you've got your laptop and an HDMI cord, you can use the big screen TV right in front of the bed to watch a late night movie. Great location; the hotel is close to all the great hot-spots in Dallas.
