The property is located within walking distance of all things central to Cumberland. The room was adequate. The hotel is under new ownership and is upgrading the facility so that is good. Location is its biggest asset.

My main window was directly over the train switching station- active and very noisy all night. Directly across the hall from me was the laundry- people were using it well past midnight. I got up to shut the door to the laundry room- no door. Did not get a good nights sleep either of the two nights I was there. The mattress was good, the bathroom appeared to be newly remodeled, and I liked being in downtown Cumberland. Did get a good rate, and once again learned that you get what you paid for

Good location but they seem to have turned off the central exhaust system that pulls air from the vent in the bathroom. The result is no air changes in the whole room, which has windows that cannot be opened. After complaining, we were moved to another room with the same problem. I feel sorry for the hospitality business in this lockdown, but we still need air. The rooms were stuffy and taking a shower made it worse. BTW, the “included breakfast” consisted of a banana, a granola bar, and a bottle of water, in a paper bag. So we went to McDonalds. I hope they improve and succeed in this valuable business in the future. The last thing I want to do is hit someone when they’re down. The afternoon/evening person at the front desk was a really nice guy.

Sink was clogged and the bed made my back hurt after 2 nights.

Within walking distance of everything downtown . The Western Maryland railway scenic train station is a short 5 minute walk

It is by the side of a Railway track. Although they provide ear plugs it is hard to have a goo nights sleep

we had a great time only thing tht was bad was the matresses they might need upgrade but over all we will return back

Staff was unsure of my reservation; called the room to confirm my name three times; traveling companions found someone in their assigned room. Dining area for breakfast was chaos; the coffee machine wasn't working (the one thing that everyone wants in the morning) toasters didn't heat properly, no half and half for coffee. However, the location was perfect for us and the room was very good; cleaned spacious.

Very little tv channel offerings. No weather channel At breakfast, none of the toasters worked-had to climb under table to find and reset plugs

The location is great. The bar is nice. The Breakfast is inadequate and messy.

This used to be a different brand/hotel line, and it was not good. We were pleased with the staff, cleanliness, shower heads (pressure), in-room microwave/fridge availability, breakfast, and wine. It is obvious that the Ramada is trying to make this a good place to stay! Downtown Cumberland has changed a bit over the years, but the staff is not afraid to take on issues outside the hotel and accommodate the guests inside! A smile was always seen. Great job - Keep going!

Great hotel! Love being on the side of the hotel where the trains are!! Love hraring them at night!! Super!! Will be back! Always enjoy our stays here

Thank you for your comments, and unfortunately half of the hotel is on the side of the CSX railroad and Amtrak station. We do try and place guests away from this side, but at times it is difficult.
