The hotel is mediocre. Accidentally booked a smoking room promptly asked if we could change rooms but were denied "we are unable to change rooms when booked on line" was the reasoning. So we opened up the window and ran the air on high. Hair in bathtub and burn holes in comforter.

The hotel was fine, staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely eat at the Hen House nearby!

Very nice clean hotel would stay again but elevator sounded rough and it was a little pricey for a one night stay in a hotel that was in the middle of nowhere. But we were tired so we paid it.

This hotel is located right off the highway, easy to find. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean and VERY comfortable.

Nice place to stay after a long drive. Just off the ramp from I-68. Facilities look almost new. Nice choices for hot breakfast in the lobby. Not much of a selection of nearby restaurants if you are looking for more than fast-food. Although the listing on this travel site states the Inn is dog-friendly, they stopped allowing dogs 2-yrs ago but can't seem to get the site to change the listing.

It was the closest hotel to where I was working for a week. Staff was very helpful and courteous. I will definitely be staying there on my next trip back to the area.

the hotel was a little dated. the breakfast was nice. the room was clean enough.

This is almost an ordinary hotel. Stay away! We had a SERIOUS problem upon arrival that was never resolved to our satisfaction. The web site states the hotel takes pets. We arrived close to midnight to find out the hotel had changed its pet policy to "NO PETS" over a year ago and have chosen not to update their web site. They refused to refund our money and could not help us find a room elsewhere. We spent over an hour finding a solution to our problem, which unfortunately involved staying at this hotel and finding a separately location for our pets (quite a challenge at midnight); this cost us additional money and time. I will never stay at this hotel again and have written a letter to the franchise home office about the management failure at this location. If their handling of our situation is representative of their management this hotel is to be avoided.

As a family of 4--mom, dad, son (12 yo), daughter (9 yo)--we are mindful of the sizes of room and beds, whenever we pick a hotel room. It was a disappointing stay, because the beds were super small and making squeaking, uncomfortable noise. They must be very old. To make it worse, they charged extra for our children! The price was $90 for 2 adults but jumped up to $105 when 2 children were added. That was insane... I don't mind paying more for a bigger room and better beds, but in this case the extra charge was totally unjustified. The beds were supposedly full-size but I know what a full-size bed is like--I'd be sleeping OK with my child in a full size, but this was definitely not. They were more like twin-size. Just to be fair, breakfast was OK, the room was clean and they seemed to make efforts to make the room look like "not-too-cheap", like granite tile bathroom counter, nice fixture, putting 4 pillows on the bed, etc, but with the old and super-small beds nothing matters. Not a good sleep during that stay, then all is bad. After all, it was a cheap one but they charged me a lot--this is how I feel.

We basically wanted a place to stay the night and hoped to see some of the crafts village in the area. Since it did not open until 11 a.m. we checked out the fabric store in the old school and then went on to Cumberland where we spent an hour in an artists' shop along the canal. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable. Some of the doors stuck and needed to be slammed to get them to close. Breakfast was adequate. We would spend the night here again.

One of the nicest accomodations I have had in a long time. Very nice and clean room.

Nice location to main hwy. Many local attractions/parks. Soundproofing leave something to be desired, flushings of neighbors late night toilet flushes, hall noise. Hallway door had gap at bottom.

Comfort Inn was not able to provide lodging for during our planned stay and instead moved our room to another hotel 20 minutes away. The hotel staff at the our "in lieu of" stay was not very nice and the hotel itself did not have the amenities that I originally thought that I was going to have when I made the reservation with comfort inn. [...] was able to provide a $40 travel voucher for the travel inconveniance but was not able to get the hotel to adjust their rate due to the poor hospitality and the lack of ammenities.

I like the layout of the room. The bathroom is enclosed and has plenty of room and privacy from the entrance to the room. So many motels/hotels have the bathroom situated so that the bathroom is "almost" in full view of someone passing by in the hallway - but not this one...

This visit was much nicer than previous visit. Room was much cleaner without a musty smell. Very convenient being on first floor by vending area. Nice bathroom. Much improved from other stay.

The Comfort Inn Grantsville provided a relatively pleasant experience. The issue was overly soft mattresses that gave both me and my wife back aches which affected us most of the following day. The rooms were clean with minor maintenance and upkeep issues (some mildew, shower curtain not wide enough to prevent water on floor). The breakfast was the highlight, with a good selection which included fresh fruit and pancakes.
