Awesome breakfast, bike wash, hot tub, and they allowed us to take our bikes in the room. Comfortable beds everything was great.

Was a quick night before hopping on the C&O the next morning. No problems, staff was friendly. Would stay again.

Very nice hotel, excellent location for bike trail, railroad and canal. Room didn't have wireless and they don't have AMC ???

The hotel was in an up-in-coming area. There is a park on the C&O Canal trail and a wonderful porch in the front and back of the hotel to sit and read or drink a glass of wine. The Bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The pool & spa were cool and not as hot as we expected. The Staff was very nice. They do need to move the staff smoking area...when the wind blows the smoke went right on the back patio. The road out of the hotel was a little weird and it was hard to get back on the hwy or to town. The price for the area was high. However the hotel was exactly what we needed and wanted. Overall, it was nice.

Fairfield Inn is the place to lodge in Cumberland: right on the Allegheny bike trail, walking distance to downtown, continental breakfast provided, clean rooms, comfortable bed, and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The hotel is close to the freeway and was very clean. No complaints, good value.

Stayed one night. Location ideal for access to historic area of Cumberland and Western Maryland Scenic railroad. Boardwalk by hotel along canal and over to historic area is very convenient.

The hotel rooms were cozy but yet upscale. It was close to the train station and we were able to do some walking and site seeing close by. The staff was very outgoing and very helpful to us. We would of liked to see some light snacks on the weekend also....like coffee and maybe some cookies...after being in the pool area and gym....that would of being the topping on the cake !! But all in all we really enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again.

We traveled 7 hours so when we got to the hotel we were ready to get to our room. First the lobby was so loud when we got there at 12:00 a.m that I couldn't hardly hear the guy to check in. Then he tells me that my credit card didn't go there when I know they took it our 3 weeks before our trip. He finally calls the manager to get it straighten out. He asked me for my credit card again to hold on file. I asked the guy if there was any money that will be taken out when he swipes my card he said no. We get to our room and I check my account to find $20 pending on my account. I called down to the front desk and he just tells me to refer to the sign on the desk!!! He couldn't have just told me that when I was down there to begin with. Both of our TV's were not hooked up and even the ipod sound system didn't work either. For the amount of money that I paid for this room I expected better. And I wanted a easy check in and out because of the distance we were traveling. The hotel barely had enough parking spaces for us too. We had to park in the back beside the dumpster. Not happy with the communication and the room at this hotel!!!

I have stayed at the new Fairfield Inn three times. I love this hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and upbeat. Everything I asked for in the way of suggestions, restaurants, computer assistance and food was provided. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and none compare to the hospitality and comfort. I highly recommend this hotel when you are planning a trip through western Maryland.

I arrived late in the evening and was greeted immediately and checked in. The room was beautiful bight and cheery. Everything was in order. Free wireless worked on the first try, the king size bed was comfortable and the bathroom had lots of towels. The air conditioner was efficient and only came on as needed, not running continuously. I enjoyed the fresh color pallet of the entire hotel. Breakfast was available with eggs waffles, hot and cold cereal and fruit....I would stay again!

Great location just off the Great Alleghany Passageway/C&O Canal trails. Cumberland really nice town. Beautiful area. Wish I could have stayed longer

The front desk staff as well as the cleaning staff were very helpful. It is close to the C & O bike trail and downtown restaurants.

From check-in to check-out the service was excellent. I have traveled throughout my lifetime and by far this was the best experience. The only suggestion I could make was that the room needed a refrigerator and a desk lamp. I use a handicapped room and the bathroom was outstanding. The side chair in the room could have been a little more generous in size but overall the room decor was delightful.

We attended a family gathering, rode the senic train and walked from the hotel to shopping and restaraunts.
