The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located close to the highway which was convenient for us. They do not serve breakfast. My sleep was interrupted by the heavy footsteps of the guest above our room and I could hear the shower in another room when it turned on and off. I have stayed at many hotels but found that this one was somewhat noisy. The exterior of the building as well as the stairwell smelled of cigarette smoke. One of the housekeepers open my door without knocking while I was not fully dressed. She apologized but I informed the front desk that in the future, they should knock and announce themselves even if they thought the room was vacant.

The bed was comfortable but the handle on the bathroom tub was broken, a watermain break outside must have occurred overnight so we had no water in the morning! That wasn't the motel's fault, but we couldn't get a shower anyway as the handle was broken. I replaced the toilet paper roll - no big deal but it should have been done before we arrived. The walls in the hall were beat up and dirty. The elevator was questionable. This was the worst Choice Hotel I've ever stayed in.

Dirty and apparently not safe as we were told nothing is in our room, like pots, pans, dishes, etc. because people steal them. You have to ask for EVERYTHING. They have a lot of extended stay customers. The only good thing was the staff. They were very kind and helpful, but we would not stay there again. A little too pricey too.

I'd stay there agsin

Easily accessible location. The room was spacious and clean. The fridge was a great size. The bed was comfortable. The lobby closes overnight but that had no affect on us since we had an outside, first floor room. What was bothersome was the guests. They'd honk their horns at 6am. We stayed 2 nights and it happened both mornings. There were a lot of lineman there with a lot of loud trucks and horns. No direct fault of the hotel, but inconsiderate to the guests.

Travel Healthcare Professional interim stay!

My stay at Suburban Studios was everything I needed and more. The property was exactly as advertised and felt extremely welcoming from the moment I arrived. What stood out most was the sense of a small, temporary community—many of the guests were there for short-term work, and it created an atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. As a solo female traveler with my pup, I cannot emphasize enough how safe and comfortable I felt here. Ms. Kathy and the rest of the staff are incredibly kind and attentive. Once you become a familiar face, they make a point of keeping you informed about any changes that could affect your stay. For example, Ms. Kathy always let me know when new guests with pets arrived so I could prepare my own pup, who is very quiet and calm. That level of thoughtfulness really set this place apart. I also appreciated the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms. I did not see any pests, and I loved that the floors had no carpet—making the space feel fresh and free of lingering odors from previous guests. It’s understandable that certain supplies need to be requested from the front desk, and I think it’s actually wise that the hotel keeps them secure. Honestly, Suburban Studios became a true refuge for me after leaving a very difficult Airbnb situation. I am so grateful for the warmth, safety, and professionalism I found here, and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a reliable and welcoming extended-stay option.

Great place to stay

I had a great experience here! Here is the good: Staff were super friendly and helpful! Lobby was clean, room was ready at check in, room was clean and had updated fridge, stove top, and microwave. Here is maybe where some improvements could be made: There are no cups, cooking utensils, or silverware. (Now maybe they aren’t branding as an extended stay.) but if you offer a larger fridge than a mini fridge and a stove top to cook with then one would think they might already have a few things there. There was a little sitting area across the parking lot with umbrellas and it always had a lot of cigarette butts on the ground. Tables not wiped off. Old broken bench. With a little attention to detail it could be a cute place to relax. There was just a small coffee machine in the lobby. It had cups, sugar, and creamer, but it was just kind of there. It worked and coffee was good! It just seemed a little bland compared to other Choice hotels I have stayed at. Overall, this is a good place to stay! I would stay here again. Would just spruce some things up a bit if it were me.😊
