The staff is amazing, the always went above and beyond

This will be a top notch resort once the grill and bar across the road is finished. The service was exceptional! Alejandra our hostess was fantastic, Edwin our waiter by the pool couldn't be better and Eduardo at the guest stand is wonderful!!

Being close to the water. The only bad point would be the closet door in 710 fell off and dam near hit me. I reported it to the front desk and they tried to fix it put they didn't fix the problem. The top hinge popped out right away and the door dosed fit the closet at all. Somebody is going to get hurt. The pool has tiles missing and several people got their feet cut and also has alot of green moss or mode growing.

Staff and food were the highlights of this property. Otherwise it is a very small resort with small pool and very limited seating. Boring and sad is the best way to describe this resort. Not much to do here. I may have thought differently had the ocean front been open. It could be beautiful there with sand added and all the dining and bar open there but it sits vacant in need of TLC. We actually went down the road to beach club a couple days. Well worth it. Snorkling was great there but is deep right away and hard to get in and out of water from dock. Steps missing and railing lacking support. Would not go back until ocean front is open.

Location was nice, but the pictures were not even close to reality. No beach No beach bars nothing. There is only 1 bar on the entire property. The pool area is not very big but the staff is amazing. Nothing was open on the ocean side for Fiesta Americana. Price is right and food is good.

As my wife said, it wasn't really dirty (except for the pool) but it's a resort that has definitely seen better days. Three of the four AC units in our rooms weren't functioning properly; didn't blow at all, leaked water all over the floor, seemed to only be fully on or fully off, etc. Caulking in the showers was a mess, lighting was really low with a bulb or two out, the only pool had tiles and caulking missing everywhere, the beach bar/restaurant area is still closed (disrepair or back taxes or something), wild birds in the buffet area pecking off the serving spoons and meat/cheese coldcut area (very gross and unsanitary). Typical high pressure timeshare push as soon as you get there, but I finally said no and was left alone after that. Pier by the closed beach club area is also closed (not sure why), but that means you have to take a taxi just about anywhere to do any excursions (I think the taxi industry on the island is one of the largest sources of income). And honestly, it's become a lot more like mainland Mexico, where everyone is trying to pull as many dollars out of you as they can. No one can be trusted, and they'll all rip you off in a heartbeat, but this mainly involves the taxis and transportation. The people working at the resort were all generally friendly, happy, and helpful, and you do get what you pay for. The water is still some of the prettiest in the world, and I know my wife and kids enjoyed their time there, just would probably not stay here again.

The staff, food options and bar are very good. The over grown plants and trees may need to be trimed.

The property is poorly maintained. There are a lot of pool tiles missing creating rough edges that can easily cut the skin. The walkways, stairs and ramps are very slippery when wet. A bathroom sink fell from the vanity in the room of another couple in our group. It was propped up with a board and not fixed for 2 days. Maintenance didn't even clean the mess till the following day's maid service.

Untrue info on Orbitz reservation page. Beach totally closed. Restaurants not available…on Sunday no buffet, and only reservation Asian or Mexican. Every morning around 8 sewage smell fill room, Would open all patio doors and go to breakfast and smell would be gone. No communications about activities or restaurant schedules. People super friendly, but had to pay 100.00 to go to a beach down the road. Will not go back and will not recommend to anyone.

Wonderful staff especially Migel in the breakfast:-) Food wasn’t bad and we hardly left the hotel during our 5-day stay. Great location and close but not too close to Downtown.

The staff is very friendly and make you feel special.

Was great. Really enjoyed the stay everyone was so nice and friendly! Will definitely be back!

Went with friends for 4 nights. We were able to get a 2 bedroom suite which was great. The rooms were very simple and could use some freshening up. The staff were kind and helpful. Food was ok. Beach facilities closed, but we knew that prior.

We have stayed at this property multiple times in the past and consider it like home. We were EXTREMELY disappointed to have taken friends with us this trip, extolling the virtues of the beach grill, fish tacos, cabanas, eating breakfast while looking at the ocean and the pier only to find it all closed! Apparently there is a dispute over past taxes. It put a terrible damper on the entire trip. That was why we chose this resort. Nowhere was the closure listed on the website and Orbitz did not notify us either. We only learned of it afte we arrived. We could not carry a chair down to the beach. Had to take our towels. Everything was torn up down there. Since we are divers, we had to drive to the marina to meet the boat. We received NO compensation for 1/3 of our visit being unavailable. This trip the food at the restaurants was disappointing, other than the fish tacos. Not nearly enough vegetables (extremely limited salad bar). Taste was blah. Our room and the facility are showing serious signs of needing repair. Our room had a leak under the floor that resulted in water coming up from the floor every times we flushed the toilet. That said, the view is second to none and we were upgraded to an incredible suite. Loved that! As always, the staff are what make Fiesta Americana. Everyone is so helpful. Mexico is serious about covid, to the point of it being somewhat over the top. Masks are required everywhere, even in the open air bar with lots of UV light and air. Very safe!

Great place! Excellent staff, especially Aaron on the beach.

We appreciate your comments. We regret that your experience has not been entirely to your liking. One of our most important goals is to provide the best service to all our guests. regarding the beach club our corporate is working on it since they are administrative issues.

Dear David,We appreciate you taking the time to write about his stay with us. We really regret not having met his expectations, we totally understand about the pool, we are working on it. As for the beach club and the dock, our corporate is working on it since they are administrative issues, however we continue to offer the all-inclusive, also as mentioned the birds in the buffet area, we will be working on it.All the mentioned comments will be shared with the departments involved. We hope you give us a new opportunity to pamper you and treat you as you deserve.
