Love breakfast on the ocean! Upgraded to a suite! Wonderful place! Stayed here last year. Returned this year with whole family. Best all-inclusive for snorkeling, which is FANTASTIC!!

Second time at this resort & everything was perfection as usual. Only tip would be we booked our room for 4 adults because I have 2 teen boys. The option when booking was a Master Suite. The room was great but the pull out bed was entirely too small for my kids. Opt for 2 rooms instead of the suite if your kids are not elementary age/size. The is also a Governors Suite which has an additional bedroom attached to the Master Suite that would make for a better option.

First impression is that they took a lot of time to make to very nice upgrades to the hotel from the previous owners. During check in, it was a good thing that I had history with the location since they make the sales pitch and offer the great up grade to stay in the Explorian. The Explorian sits in the back of the hotel a short walk to the main hotel building where all the food drinks and comfortable weather is. So I declined any up grade since all the up graded rooms are located away from ocean views and breeze. Go for it if you like heat and bugs (avoid the sales pitch). Staff is very pleasant and work hard. During the time we would tip regularly through our stay with american cash. But when we wanted to get change for our larger bills no one could give change other then the people that had tip jars. Also tried to purchase items at the hotel and again no dollars excepted only pesos or credit card. Tough when all you want is a simple razor. Room was nice and clean with small stocked refrigerator with water, soda and beer. Everything would get restocked every day for free. Every afternoon staff would drop off a fresh bottle of water with out having to chase some one down. Three restaurants all with descent flavor and some good diversity along with a decent buffet every night. Lunch time food is a good veriety at two beach huts. one with burgers and dogs the other is Mexican sea food and tacos.

Staff is great, beach cookouts delicious. Overall food is good, could Mexicanize it a bit more. Note it is across the street from beach but really not a problem. Beautiful views if you have ocean view but then you don't spend much time in your room!

Wow, where do we start? We have stayed at all-inclusive resorts in many places, most often Beaches and Sandals resorts. I wasn't expecting a lot, but was so surprised to realize how much we just loved this place!!! I had read many reviews saying how the place was "full", but it never seemed crowded or busy. We were there at the peak of spring break, and the same held true. The restaurants were not busy, we always got right in, there were always chairs available (on our own little shady spot on the beach under the pergola.) There were always clean towels available. There were always happy workers coming up to you on the beach as well as the pool area to ask if you wanted drinks. Coffee was alway available after 6:30 am (which is when we would head down in search of it.) The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Every room has a large balcony which was perfect for drying our wetsuits and gear. While the resort may not be as "fancy" as some of the resorts we have stayed at, it was the most comfortable. Restaurants and food: A+ all the way! I was so excited to eat at Cevicheria, and it didn't disappoint! We loved the waiters Jose and Reymundo!!! They spoiled us and made us feel like family. The ceviche and shrimp/fish tacos were delicious! Every restaurant we ate in, we were made to feel special. The buffet was always good too! And Pedro, the omelette chef, was so kind! He never gets a day off, but told me he "loves his job"! Every worker there deserves a

The vacation included my two children ages 15 and 17, my wife and myself. We stayed in a master suit which included a separate room for the kids. The facilities were very clean and the staff were extremely accommodating. The restaurants have decent food and the Italian restaurant was our favorite. On our last evening, we wanted to eat there at my oldest turned 18 but the restaurant was closed due to an event and a buffet was opened in its place on the beach. Although disappointed, we decided to get sushi. The staff knowing it was my oldests birthday, tracked us down as we went to find a place to eat and brought over a special treat. It was very heartfelt and the staff really went out of there way to make the meal and day special.

The guest can dive, snorkel right off the stairs into the ocean or hang around the pool. Staff is terrific. At one point I misplaced my camera and the first staff person I told immediately texted the rest of the staff to be on the lookout for it. (I had left it in my room). The freshly cooked food was so good ! For example, one day the senior chief set up a beach barbecue featuring Mahi Mahi, grouper and salmon. Cooked to perfection. Several nights desserts were brought to my door ! My room was kept immaculate with fresh flowers and towel art every day. I can't wait to go back for my 5th or 6th time!

Our room was gorgeous overlooking the main pool area and the beach. We could sit on our patio and watch the sunset and all the boats that passed by. Also, we watched the dune buggy and the VW beetle tours drive by. The meals were all very good. The food on the buffets was very plentiful. Our group tried every restaurant during our stay. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant so much that we chose to return there for our last night. The chef makes the pasta for the dishes served and I had the best Lasagna that I have ever had. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay was an outstanding one! Food, staff, facilities, and wonderful attitude made this stay a memorable one.

Fiesta Americana is an all-inclusive that provided our family relaxation, entertainment and incredible hospitality. The staff is amazing and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the utmost enjoyment and comfort. Giancarlo and Julio kept the activities diverse and fun; while Eduardo and Aaron kept everyone's drink full and refreshed at the pool! The spa staff walked the pool area giving massages and there was always a good tune playing in the background. The food is great- fish and shrimp tacos by the beach with Fernando and crew will truly be missed! The options of Italian, Thai, Mexican, and the Sushi bar- are more than enough and each one is authentic and delicious. The resort is very well laid out and easy to get around. A massage at the spa is a must and very reasonably priced. We would recommend FA to any of our friends and will definitely be back.

The staff really made this resort so exceptional, they all went out of their way to be friendly and accomodating. Our suite was roomy, clean and comfortable. The only complaint was that the restaurant schedule didn't always seem to be what was posted, the grill opened late for lunch one day

Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean everywhere, very good bad and AC. Great food and beverage. But no beach.

happy we stayed there. would have liked it better if hotel was on the same side of the road as the ocean, but other than that top rank. staff very friendly and helpful. we had a first floor room w/ a shared pool outside our room. would have been better to be up a few more floors. sunsets were amazing

The stay overall was excellent. Went from Dec 6th to the 13th. I have stayed at the Fiesta American 3 times in the past, including last year. The facility is spotless, the people are friendly and helpful. There is no pressure to buy time shares or anything else. The buffet is very good with a lot of variety. I chose to stay in the Master Suite this time, but all of the rooms are nice with a good view of the ocean. The speciality restaurantes are also very good. I go to dive every year. I have been diving with Sea Urchin for years. It is a small boat and Pancho the owner and dive master will take you anywhere you want to go. You are not on a schedule like the cattle boats. I always bring plenty of single dollar bills so that I have money to tip staff, the maid and waiters. They survive on tips and they truely appreciate it when you leave them a dollar. I have been going to Cozumel once or twice a year for the past 15 years and have stayed at a lot of places, including the Cozumel Palace and the Aura, both very nice places, however for the money, comfort and a relaxed atmosphere, I will go back to Fiesta America.

Very nice hotel, great food, great customer service. Would definitely return!

My wife and I were very pleased and happy we chose the fiesta Americana. The food was awesome the staff was phenomenal. We were treated like a king and queen even though it was not a five-star resort, we would still go back and recommend to all our friends.

We had a great time... the hotel needs some upgrades. The roof was falling apart in places things that really need to be kept up with.

I expected more. Beautiful area, nice of diving, but food not so good.

This hotel is average and ordinary. 1 swim up bar and 1 other non swim up by the beach. Man made beach is on other side of road but quick access from hotel. Snorkeling is amazing off the coral directly across from the hotel; however need to rent snorkeling equipment from dive shop unless you do it as an organized activity with the hotel. Food needs more variety but still quite tasty. They do have a la carte restaurant.

Staff was extremely helpful, polite and accomodating. Hotel clean and food very good. Rooms comfortable and well kept.
