Pleasant staff, very friendly and willing to help. Nice rooms, comfortable new beds. The pool was out of commission, but was not a big deal to us, that wasn’t why we were there. Great shuttle service from the airport.

Beautifully appointed hotel with nice rooms and amenities. Staff was polite but clueless. I stood at the coffee bar and two employees saw me trying to figure out why it wouldn’t work. I had to discover it was out of water and then approach them to get them to refill the water to make it work. No one explained the restaurant operations to breakfast. We had to walk around and figure it out ourselves and then someone came up and assisted us. We did laundry on the 3rd floor, expensive to do and the dryer barely heats. When I brought it to there attention they just said we will call it in. No offer of alternatives or assistance. If you want a nice hotel with crappy service. This is the place for you.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Florence Kentucky on June 28th & 29th. We returned to our hotel late on Saturday night after spending the day in Cincinnati to find that housekeeping had not been to our room. We had no clean towels, no coffee, etc. We went to the front desk and told them and the only thing they said is that they had 2 housekeepers walk-out during their shift that day. (May be a clue how they treat their employees if two walked out on the same day). We carried towels up to the room, then realized there was no coffee, so had to make another trip to the lobby. When we left the next day we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the front desk person (different person than the night before) but no apology, no offer for a discount, nothing! We spent almost $450 to stay in a hotel that did not give a crap about their guests. I will never stay here again.

Only spent one night here, but the room was nice, clean, and quiet. The only thing I would change is the blower of the airconditioner. It blasts the air out, so the person sleeping in the bed next to the AC unit will be frozen all night long. There should be some sort of deflector to direct the direction of the airflow. This hotel is in a busy location. Lots of restaurants, gas, and stores. Be patient trying to get out on the main road. The traffic lights last a LONG time! Give yourself extra time to get to where you are going.

We spent several days at The Holiday Inn at Florence, KY in April. We recommend this hotel highly. They treated us as though we were family and at home. We actually had forgotten something in our room, and our heartfelt thanks to Paul who looked and found what we had left in our room and sent it along to us. Our thanks to Mary Cruz for stepping up and taking care of what we left, and we didn't discover it until we had arrived home. Thank you Mary for taking care of us through Housekeeping. You and your staff did a wonderful job. This is a great place to stay and you can certainly trust them with everything! A nice on sight restaurant right off the lobby and Alex will take excellent care of you at Breakfast time. Thank you again, folks for a great stay.

We came to town for a weekend away to attend a concert in Cincinnati. We chose this location as it is an easy drive downtown while still in an area with a lot of shops and eateries. The lobby was very nice and inviting. We arrived around 7:30 PM on a Friday. The clerk was friendly but was very busy with a line of people checking in and the phones ringing. The check in process was quite slow. A gentlemen ahead of us was checked in then came right back down because his keys didn’t work, thus slowing down check in even more. Another guest had called down because they hadn’t received their roll away bed yet so the clerk made a call to have it sent to the room. The guest then came down a little bit later because they brought her a crib instead of a bed. After all of this and a long wait, we finally checked in. Perhaps another clerk would be beneficial during peak times. The room was spacious and clean. However, it is evident the rooms are not maintained well at all as there were multiple things broken and damaged. The bulbs in the entryway ceiling light were burnt out. The deadbolt on the door was loose and not secure. A chunk of the door where it was screwed in was missing, so the screws were loose. The doorknob on the closet door was dangling off the door. The towel hook on the bathroom door was loose and hanging upside down. The bathroom door would not stay open. Both the closet and bathroom door and door frames could stand to be repainted or even replaced as they are scuffed and have chunks missing from them. When flushing the toilet, the handle would stick causing the toilet to run and run unless you jiggle the handle. Many of the wall outlets and outlets on the lamps are useless. They are extremely loose, causing what you plug in to not receive proper power. My phone would start and stop charging. The desk chair has many rips in the leather in the base and the back. The chair looks worn and is in rough condition. We provided a comment card to the front desk with all of these issues so they could be addressed. It’s hard to believe with so many things broken or damaged in one room that no other guest has mentioned any of them so they could be fixed. You would also think housekeeping would at least notice burnt out bulbs and broken door handles and would notify maintenance. We are loyal IHG customers and prefer Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels, however I don’t foresee us returning to this particular location.

Recent stayover for car shopping and Florence Mall visit. Easy location-convenient to I 75 and shopping locations. Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfy. Facilities were in very good condition and contemporary. We didn't visit the restaurant; but did use room service.... satisfactory service and food. Parking was well lit and free.

This hotel is clean and convenient to the freeway. Many restaurants and stores around close. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We did not use the pool but we did have drinks at the lounge. The staff was friendly. This location does not provide a complimentary breakfast or complimentary bottles of water but does have free parking. Our main reason for staying at this location was to have drinks at the lounge in the evening without having to drive afterward. We did have a couple minor issues during this stay. The elevator was broke when we arrived and although we just called the day before, we were not told about this issue in advance. The stairs were only accessible from the outside so we had to go outside each time to get from the lobby to our room. They were nice enough to move us from the fourth floor to the second. The elevators were fixed by the second day of our stay. We had drinks in the lounge but did not order food. After seeing two different customers send their food back we were glad we did not order any food there. Our main issue was the invoice. When my wife called to make the reservation we were given a room rate of $109 per night. She verified this was the per night rate with the individual who took the reservation. When we got our invoice we were billed $109 for the first night and $130 for the second night. When my wife asked about this at check-out we were told that rates can change and we had initialed that fact on the paperwork when we signed in. My wife asked to talk with the person who quoted her the rate but when they went to get them we were told they could not come out right now. I thought when you have a confirmation and are told the price per night it could not change at that point. Obviously make sure to read all the fine print on the check-in paperwork and ask very specific questions before checking in. Other than that it was a nice, relaxing stay but we will be back at Hampton Inn from now on.
