With 61 SQM2 this is by far our biggest studio. With the kingsize bed tugged away behind a half wall and the queensize sofabed this is a perfect fit for smaller families traveling together.
The 50’s are back and the original design of the apartments in Dronningegården (Queens Courtyard) has been meticulously carried out throughout the renovation of the studio with lots of historic details and well thought through architectural solutions.
The Space:
From the entrance the long and spacious living space opens up with a french balcony, lounge area and dining table for four. The comfortable sofa unfolds to a high quality queensize (160x200cm) bed which along the kingsize bed creates a total of four bed-spaces. The bathroom is a remodeled 50’s designer gem. Welcome to the Queens Courtyard’s large studio apartment.
A tour of the place
From the street entrance take a couple of steps up and you will find the apartment entrance on high ground floor.
Enter straight into the spacious entrance with plenty of space for luggages and overcoats for four.
To your right the newly renovated bathroom with a fullsize washer and dryer and a rainwater showerhead with hot water that never runs out.
The kingsize bed with a hypoallergenic pillow selection is right around the corner from the entrance.
Continue on to the loungearea with a loungechair and a 3 seater sofa that unfolds to a high quality queensize (160x200cm) bed. Enjoy your favorite Netfllix (complimentary) show on the 50” smart Samsung TV.
The round dining table for four is next to the french balcony and right by the kitchen entrance behind the glass walls.
The kitchen is fully equipped including Quooker, Nespresso machine with complimentary biodegradable capsules, fullsize fridge and freezer and plenty of cookware.
The Neighborhood:
Dronningegården is a true Copenhagen gem with a perfect and quiet location right behind Kongens Have (The Kings Garden) and the cultural hotspot of Kongens Nytorv. The building is from 1958 and was recently declared protected due to its architectural value. The metro station is 7 minutes walking and from there a 12 minute ride to the airport.
