Money doesn’t go far in Copenhagen. It’s a very expensive city so you need to pay more in your budget for accommodation or you end up in an ordinary place. The bed was comfy but only 1 pillow, no hot water jug. Breakfast was good though. The room was not made up, nor were towels changed during our 3 day stay, to save water ( or to save labour costs) . We had to go down down down to reception to ask for towels.

Very close to Copenhagen Central Station and Tivoli! The hotel itself is nicely decorated and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was outstanding! Also the roof lounge area was very nice.

There is nothing comfortable about this cheapskate hotel! We stayed on a hot weekend and the air conditioning didn’t work. We had 2 uncomfortable, sweaty nights where we couldn’t sleep. The issue was reported and Maintenance came but we were told that it was an old building and it was to be expected! Also, the single beds were like sleeping on a washing line and housekeeping didn’t clean the rooms. Towels were covered in dirty black marks on arrival and had to be switched. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in recent times.

This hotel has a very excellent location. Walking distance to the tourist info center, train station and a lot of restaurants around. There is a convenience store beside it too. The room is very basic it is a pretty good size and has a lot of outlets. It does not even have a table to put things on. No phone in the room. No safe and the room gets cleaned every 4 days so you have to go to the front desk to ask for towels or toilet paper. The staff was helpful giving me info about the train and booked a taxi for me for the return home. There is a laundry area where you can wash your clothes. A good hotel with very basic amenities.

Good choice.

We were 3 couples, all staying in the 5th floor. The 3 rooms varied in amenities. Closet. We (the seniors of the family) had two bars and the hangers kept falling off. The other two had a rod. Much better. We had a deep (I mean deep!) slippery, narrow tub with a shower at one end. Showering was a bit terrifying without grab bars (we are in our 70’s.). One other couple had the same. The other had a walk in shower. We had little room at the foot of the bed. The other two had about one extra meter. The difference, I suppose, is because of the exterior roof. But all this to say, if you are assigned the 5th floor, ask questions first! But the bed was comfortable and there was decent bathroom counter space. Centrally located for Tivoli and Hop On/Off sightseeing buses. grocery store next door, lots of dining options.

Great place to stay for a few days

Great hotel right in the heart of Copenhagen, just a stones throw from Tivoli, and a short little cab ride to Nyhavn and the Royal Theater (actually walkable if you want). Possibly THE BEST breakfast provided that I've ever seen anywhere. It is literally OFF THE HOOK! Can't even begin to describe the spread that takes up three rooms! Also a nice little reception desk that doubles as a bar and coffee center. Great place. And there is a grocery store right next door. No A/C proper, but rather "air cooling" they call it. Not the best, but that is normal for Europe.

Okay but not comfortable

Our experience with this hotel was okay. They are eco-friendly, which is great, but sometimes went too far at the expense of comfort. We had no issue with changing the towels every 4 days, which we understood when we booked the room. The bathroom had a towel warmer which helped them dry. However, it happened to be warmer than expected while we were there, and the temperature in the room felt very hot with 4 of us in a small family room. There was a knob to turn up or down the fan strength in the room but it didn’t do a whole lot to help us. On the other hand, the shower water never got even lukewarm so it was invigorating to say the least. To access the free, hotel-grade coffee, you have to download an app, which felt silly because they already have all our information from checking in. We couldn’t use the laundry when we needed it, which was very inconvenient and not explained at the outset. The bed was overly soft and worn out, so every time one of us moved, the other one woke up. The location was good, near the train station and Tivoli. The courtyard looked like a nice place to sit but we didn’t use it. The room seemed clean. Overall, the hotel was passable, but not comfortable, so I wouldn’t do it again.
