I enjoyed my stay. Room was small but functional. Hotel staff were polite and glad to serve the guests

Stayed after a cruise. Hotel is adequate and in a good location. Rooms are very small and building is old.

The location is great, no question about it. However, note that there is no doorman/bell stand at this hotel--which I don't necessarily care about but there was an older lady who was having trouble carrying her luggage at the front door. Hotel is well maintained

Excellent location, but room was stuffy & at least 20 degrees (F) warmer than outside because there was no AC, and the Windows could only be cracked open. The fan they brought didn't work. It was difficult to sleep because of how warm the room stayed. I loved the buffet breakfast & how quiet my room was.

The location could not have been better but I have never seen a smaller hotel room. I stayed in a single and there was enough room for me and my carry on, but nothing else. Overall, not a great value for the room rate.

Very near the berth for our cruise ship yet still close to the town center. Old but cleans and everything worked.

Very convenient hotel for touring the area. Comfortable accommodations. great for travelers.

I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. Bed was small for 2 people.

Stayed at the end of a Baltic cruise, hotel was close to everything we wanted to do.

SMALL ROOM , OLD BATH , EXPENSIVE !! Close to palace and some atractions, still expensive .

We arrived early in the morning for a cruise leaving the next day after an overnight flight from DC, and they were happy to hold our bags until check-in. Moreover, the staff pulled out a map and outlined the sites we could walk to in order to make the most of our one free day in Copehagen. The room was surprisingly large with a very nice bathroom. Our only wish would be for better AC. The room was a bit stuffy even though the outside temperature rose to only about 60 degrees. The next morning staff called a cab to take us to the port.

Booked a double bed, got a single bed. The room was tiny and look more like a hostel room. Everything was clean and location is good, but this seriously is not what you expect from a four star hotel

Staff was great, very accommodating. Always Smiling and willing to help. Room was nice, it was small but we were looking to spend a lot of time out in the city so it didn't matter to us.Room was VERY clean. Had a small refrgierator/ Minibar. Breakfast was amazing. We would definitely rave about that. We are still trying to figure out what cheese they served so that we can buy some and eat it at home! :) Everything was great there. Location was amazing. Easy walk to the Palace, The little mermaid, many gardens, Nyhavn Street. Good restaurants around for different prices. Many groceries stores in walking proximity also. If you want air conditioning make sure to ask. It definitely wasn't the best air conditioner but it served the purpose since it was very humid outside and was better than nothing! Thank you to the Phoenix for making our stay in Copenhagen a pleasant one.

Very convenient, good price, great location !! Close to everything, close to the ports, metro, hop off hop on buses and shopping

So my friend and I got a standard room, but we were placed in a room in the inner side of the building right by the kitchen or something. As a result, we had the sound of dishes clanging the entire time. Furthermore, the shape of the room was awkward and had terrible feng shui. The beds were single beds, which made us feel like we were in a dormitory. Worst of all, the service was miserable and they had no intention of making our stay comfortable at all.

Great location right near the boat doc and all the touristy things that you'd want to see. Tivoli is about a 20 minute walk, which is a pleasant walk through town. We requested and were given a new room because the smoke from the terrace was coming into our room. The hotel staff were very accommodating and even moved our luggage to the new room while we were out in the city. Nice, clean hotel that's close to sites, and a friendly and accommodating staff. I'd definitely stay again.

I called ahead to say I would be arriving late, which they assured me was not a problem. I arrived to find that they had given my room away and rebooked me into an inferior partner hotel without any reimbursement or explanation.

Considering how expensive everything is in Copenhagen, the Phoenix Hotel was a very good value for the room. However, the breakfast was $30 per person. There are a number of steps getting into the hotel and although someone helped us with the luggage once we checked in, no one offered to help us when we first arrived. We had to carry our luggage up the steps ourselves.

This was a good location, only 2 blocks to Nyhavn area. There is no coffee in room, but some in lobby. Hotel breakfast was very expensive. Computer and printer is available in lobby. Umbrellas avaliable, but pricey bike rental.

Room was small but in perfect spot to walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast buffet was full a options and service was quick and friendly. Close to metro and 30 minute ride to airport. Also just 5 minute walk to shopping on Stroget. Not fancy but good place to stay if you want to be close to good food, shops and attractions.
