Nice hotel a lot of charm, entrance has stairs, inconvenient taking large luggage in and out. Very nice breakfast if you eat a variety, it's not for light eaters as it is costly. Walk to metro.

The hotel is in a very attractive neighborhood and conveniently located. The staff was very nice and helpful and the room was very clean and tasteful. However, entering the hotel involves going up a number of steep steps which is not user friendly for people carrying heavy suitcases. There are also a number of steps inside the hotel also. And I think is difficult to use the shower without creating a big puddle in the bathroom.

Had to carry suit cases up steps to entry hotel. Room parallel to noisy street

The hotel has a great community feel with a central courtyard, evening happy hour, and good breakfast. The staff is great. The rooms are small, but clean and super comfortable. Easy walk to the Norreport train station, and easy walk to central Copenhagen.

Very nice 4 stars hotel. Near everything in Copenhagen if you like to walk like us. Very kind and smiling staff, all young and always ready to help. We had a great suite room, perhaps the bathroom was small but it didn't matter really.

This is not a luxury hotel but it provides all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Staff also tries to be very helpful. I visit Copenhagen frequently and have stayed here repeatedly as I find it very good value for the money. The location on Peblinge Sø is quiet and beautiful while very near to all public transport. Some of the single rooms can be small and may not have a bathtub but if you want a tub, not a shower, request one. There is currently construction going on next door, so request a room on the other side of the building if you don't relish workmen as an early morning wake-up call.

Great location within walking distance of all major attractions. The room was comfortable and clean. The front office staff was helpful and made several suggestions re quality restaurants in the area. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend who booked a room for several nights and like myself was quite pleased. The afternoon cocktail session was a nice treat.

The hotel was absolutely perfect for us. We had a lovely stay and would have liked to stay longer. The hotel was easily accessible to the airport via the metro and the center of town. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heated towel rack helped keep our towels light and fluffy. The guts at the front desk were friendly and engaging. The wine at 5 pm was a great way to taste a local delicacy - best glu wine we had on the trip!

The hotel is centrally located by the waterfront, walking distance to restaurants, shops, attractions. Beautiful accommodation, stayed there two different nights. First room had large bathroom and overlooked the hotel entrance with view of river. The second room had small open shower area- everything got wet. It faced the court yard. Hotel has different buildings. Breakfast Buffet was not that great for price. But staff was great! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The hotel is wonderfully located within walking distance to main attractions, shopping. The staff were incredible nice , courteous and helpful. Breakfast was a bit expensive, I suggest you go out for this meal. Rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. No A C but room had a fan and at night it was cool enough. Rate it a 4 ****

This hotel was lovely to stay in, but be prepared that there are several steps to get in and out. You will need to be able to carry your own luggage up 10 to 12 steps to enter the lobby and there are stairs to get to the elevator. Rooms did not have air conditioning and windows were tricky to open. Staff was helpful. Good location.

Very pleased with the hotel. As we were arriving on a late flight, we contacted the hotel to ensure our room would be held. Front-desk staff was very nice and helpful. Although we got information on some within walking distance restaurants, we were pleasantly surprised with reasonably priced snacks at the hotel bar. Incidentally, the sandwich was excellent! The hotel was a great location. It was close to a nice selection of bars and restaurants, but was still nice and quiet. Walking distance from any number as sights, as well as public transportation. Although the room was small by US standards, the amenities were nice and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed one night in room 308 in early June 2013. The pictures of this hotel are extremely misleading and inaccurate. With a queen bed in our room, there was barely space for one person to walk around the bed. These rooms are extremely small. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom and the room look like they are from the 1960s. The furniture are several decades old and falling apart. Everything is old and rundown. Rooms in this hotel still use metal keys! The most outrageous thing is that they call this rundown place a 4 star hotel. I would take an average Motel 6 any day over this 4 star tourist trap!

We booked a standard double, but I noticed that it is the same size as the "superior" single. With a smarter room arrangement, the room could have been made to feel bigger, but silly things like a heavy basket of useless books and a too-big desk wasted the limited floor space. We utilized the space under the bed to store a small suitcase which helped. The windowsill was large enough for a suitcase, too, but the curtain opened on the wrong side, making this option less accessible. The hotel claims to be "green", but I found this to be "greenwash". There were little bottles of toiletries, but the maid never replaced the shampoo. On the plus side, the bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. There was an electric coffee/tea pot on the windowsill that could be used to make hot water, but it had to be moved to the bathroom where there was an outlet to plug it into. The bathroom was an adequate size, with a good solid wood door, not glass as in so many Copenhagen hotels. The best part of this hotel was that it was on a bike path just two blocks away from an excellent bicycle-rental place, Baisikeli at Turesensgade 10. On the street passing south of the hotel was a very nice bakery/cafe just one block away. I would rate this hotel as three stars instead of four.

This hotel sadly does not live up to the promotion. For the $234 per queen size bed room, we got low rate, double bed, attic room which was so small, 2 people could not walk past each other. Our travel partner had a large room for the same price on the first floor. The hotel is not air conditioned and as such, a summer stay is risky like we experienced. The desk staff has to multi task performing other duties such as bar tending and busing of tables. We will not stay here again should we return to Copenhagen. We will look for an American brand hotel and skip the European inn.

Good location. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kong Arthur. Beautifully appointed room, nice bath, attentive staff. We arrived early and they were able to accomodate us almost immediately. Great Location. Metro stop also had a train stop and a commuter train stop. Close to restaurants and coffee bars. this was the best place we stayed in Scandinavia. We highly recommend it.

I had booked a junior suite room however they give me a standard double room without telling me nothing about that. I had to call because the room had two twin beds and I had asked for a room with a king bed. They say that they will change the beds, however, when I notice that the bathroom had only a bad shower (without shower doors) I knew that I didn't got a junior suite. I had to go and talk to the receptionist and just then they told me that they didn't have a junior suite available that day or any other room and that at the next day they would change me to a full suite in return. I was upset because if I hadn't complaint they wouldn't have say anything about the room and I think it was unprofessional. Beside that incident the suite was nice and big. The bed wasn't good but apparently is the standard in Copenhagen because it seemed more like two twin beds together than one king bed. The hotel is located in an area with several restaurants nearby, however all of them where expensive in comparison to other capitals in Europe. Overall, Copenhagen is a beautiful city, though expensive, and we had a great time there.

Wonderful place to stay. Close to all trains. Don't get room on courtyard. Noisy restaurants Spa was lovely

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night after our cruise. In the morning it was very busy with people coming back from a cruise as well as people about to get on the bus to go to the cruise. The hotel is nice but our room was small and the bathroom was stinky with a shower and no bath tub. Had to pay to use the hotel computer to print boarding pass. The main restaurant was only opening in the morning so we had lunch at the Italian restuarant which was nice. We walked around most of the afternoon but when it was time for dinner there wasn't much around the area so that was disappointing! You must order a taxi in advance as there is no street parking
