Location is great, room is fine, but I don't understand why it is the Ascot Hotel, not the Wide hotel which is very confusing when looking for the property. Be careful, hotel called me a cab or the set price of 315 DKK and cab driver charged me 376 DKK. When I inquired as to why, he said it doesn't pertain to weekends. And, at 7 AM on May 17, a pick pocket grabbed me by the shoulders and tried to pickpocket me as he pulled me into his body and heavily tried to have me walk with him. This happened outside the hotel, fortunately the hotel was right there. I am not sure if they showed the video to the police, I did request this to identify the culprit.

Lovely hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Balcony rooms had great views. Loved our stay. A few mins walk from metro & easy walk to many of the main sights in Copenhagen.

Great location and nice hotel. We were able to leave luggage upon arrival as room not available for a few hours. Didn’t try breakfast as quite expensive and many places nearby to pick up a coffee and a pastry. The young lady tending the bar in the evenings made delicious cocktails and was friendly and sociable. Would stay here again. The room was nice, not sure I’d call it superior but bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

Great location. Classy bar and lobby area. Staff are efficient with a very fast check in. Rooms are slightly small, with one side of the bed almost against a wall. We were at the back of the hotel so it was pretty quiet…although the view wasn’t pretty!

Nice clean comfortable room. Decent location for leisure travellers. Breakfast was nice and very welcome. We used the left luggage room both on arrival and departure, and this easy and well maintained. We will stay here again on our next visit.

Spacious rooms, well finished - not great sound proofing from windows but wasn’t that noisy. Lobby and communal areas nicely finished- bar not manned in afternoon/early evening but staff would help if you needed anything
