Everything was great, the water pressure was a little low though and the toilets didn’t have much flushing confidence ;). Clean and perfect area for a hotel, staff was great too.

Room was nice. Breakfast was disappointing. The breakfast room is too small for the hotel. The food was limited and the same each day. Last day couldn’t even get in, the line up went right into the hotel lobby.

We stayed a night when visiting Collingwood this past weekend. The property is located right by a grocery store and other food places so it was convenient. As for the room itself, it was no frills but clean and comfortable enough. The hotel is slightly dated but makes up for it with a spacious room. We had a King bed and the mattress was firm. The bathroom was a little old and water pressure in the showers could have been more powerful. The included breakfast was serviceable with scrambled eggs, sausages, bagels and cereal.

I was hoping that the negative reviews regarding the cleanliness would’ve made the hotel change something but apparently not. Paying over $660 for two nights only to find my room have a weird odour in the kitchenette area because there were not only food scraps in the sink from the previous guest but also their half full garbage still under the sink, causing the smell. And they don’t vacuum or mop the floors because there was also someone else’s toenail on the floor by the bed. In addition, the tub wasn’t draining properly so it took 45 minutes to drain just from a shower. The continental breakfast wasn’t much to be desired - scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, bagels and pre-packaged muffins but the layout of the dining area is small and weird and could have a better layout. The staff was super nice and the A/C was working good, but again, for over $660 I’d expect at the very least a clean room.
