What an amazing rental! We loved every minute of it. I don't know if our favorite spot was the balcony overlooking the ocean or the infinity pool! Kitchen has everything you need. Town isn't too far away and very fun nightlife! Everything was great about this rental, would highly recommend. I wish we stayed more than two nights, we needed more!

This place has the million dollar view! It's very clean and well kept. You don't need a 4x4 to get up there. You can get up to the property in a regular SUV that has decent clearance because the road is bumpy, steep and narrow. It's close to everything you'll need during your stay.

Gorgeous Mal Pais Retreat

Beautiful place to stay! Very clean, beautiful wood interiors, inviting pool, incedible view of the ocean right from your private balcony. I could go on and on. Host was friendly and responsive, helpful and courteous. Animals in trees right nearby. Property has pretty limited parking, and I’ll admit it was a bit of a challenge parallel parking at that elevation. 10/10 would stay here again. Love the quiet policy. So peaceful & rejuvenating.

Amazing views above a long stretch of jungle canopy straight to the ocean. Saw lots of wildlife. Swimming pool is beautiful. Peaceful, private decks with each room. Vi havde bestilt to enkeltsenge. Det fortalte værten slet ikke eksisterede på han sted. Men han organiserede en ekstraseng og alt var fint. Meget flink og hjælpsom vært. Vi prøvede på at komme ind på vores side for tavse bestillingen, det kunne vi desværre ikke. Vi bestiller ALDRIG dobbeltseng. Vejen op til Naranja var MEGET stejl og hullet. Vores udlejningsbil klarede ikke turen og vi måtte parkere bilen nede og tage taxa op og ned.

Beautiful views!!!!

This small hotel is situated high on a cliff. It has spectacular views. The owner is very pleasant but has strict rules. For one you cannot put toilet paper in toilet or you will be charged $300 for any damages. I’ve never seen that before in all my travels. The road leading up to hotel is in terrible shape so make sure your driving a 4x4. Other than that it was lovely!!!! A free breakfast would be suggested as there is no coffee machine and place very isolated. Grazie Marco I look forward to seeing your new pool your planning to put in. That would also be an added bonus. Ciao

Amazing view

Let me start with the view which was priceless and our favorite spot was the balcony. This is a a boutique hotel with few rooms. Please be aware that the route to get to the hotel in the mountain is very rough and for somebody that is not familiar with the route then going out at night is not an option specially if it is raining. We went out of season so basically we were the only ones in the hotel. The decoration is kind of old and specially my husband complained about the smell of the pillow. It was construction going on in the hotel and improvements are in there way so most likely at least food and drinks can be found in the hotel in the near future. Be aware that no TV is in the room so basically is nature and you! Bring a book and enjoy the quietness of this place.

Good, clean property with Marco as welcoming host - fabulous recommendation to see the sunset and eat at Caracalas. The view was fabulous and jungle noises added to the ambience. Only downside is the property is about a 5 min drive up a steep hill. Think this is Expedia not the owner but not a 5 minute walk realistically, which is what we hoped for.
