Ocean Palace Hotel

JEJU Vacation

The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel room was very clean, with lots of cabinet space, the washer came in as a big plus since we went hiking everyday. You should explore the streets behind the hotel for restaurants there is wonderful food just minutes away. The hotel parking was also a big plus, and centrally located, near lots of attractions. Overall I would not hesitate to stay there again very nice accommodation perfect place to stay if you rent a car.

Aimi Jeju Beach Hotel

Great Place to Stay

The hotel is very accessible to other destinations on the island. The absolute best part is how close the beach is, also the beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen! (really cool tidal effects providing pools to see little sea creatures in-awesome free experience!:) The staff is really nice there! Very helpful and many had a great sense of humor! The location is definitely walkable (15 minutes at furthest stretch) to a lot of restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores(~25% more expensive than other places around the island since near to such a beautiful beach:) There is not a gym in the hotel, but get outside! Near the large pier (10 minutes walk away), there's this fun outdoors fitness center open to the public and great track to run around (if the trails are too far away for you). This was my first time outside the country (from America) so the free breakfast was not my favorite (I'm too accustomed to non-savory food in morning-sweets, etc. for breakfast-if you are too, try Cafe Delmoondo at the pier-can be pricey or the cheap waffle place nearby in the inner streets), but my girlfriend (Korean-American) was definitely happy with the breakfast. Before going to this hotel, I read about the shower and window to the beach, my advice, close the curtain (you'll be fine it covers well) or just don't worry about it-you're on vacation LOL. When I go back to Jeju (this trip made me want to return and stay for life) I will definitely stay here again!

Ramada Plaza Jeju Ocean Front

Odd mix of good and bad.

Nice location and plenty of conference amenities but, for winter visitors, the hotel shuts off AC capability in the rooms, so the south facing rooms are excessively hot (upper 80s F) during the day and into the nights. Window will open only 4 inches due to stops. So book a room on the north side (also faces ocean) or bring a phillips head screwdriver and remove the window stops to aid cooling. Also, they offer a can of 'Raid' bug killer in every room. FYI. Staff was friendly and helpful for other things but could not effect the AC. The hotel will give a 50% discount on the $22USD charge for using the pool or exercise room.
