This is a four star luxury hotel. The staff was professional, courteous, kind and truly went well above the call of duty to make our stay the most pleasurable and convenient stay we’ve ever had. The facilities were gorgeous and well maintained. The on site restaurant was high quality and delicious. The staff was always ready to give recommendations for local dining, excursions, most efficient way to get to wherever we wanted to go. Great option for singles, families and business people. Would definitely stay again.

Upon arrival, Bomi with concierge was exceptional. She welcomed us with open arms, even upgrading our original garden view room to an ocean view room. Each time we stepped into the lobby, she was instantly ready to accommodate any need we had, from pool towels (for the outdoor heated pool) to dinner plans. If the experience stopped there, it would be 5-star! But there’s more! Our room was perfection, with grand touches, such as heated toilet seats, personal jacuzzi and complimentary items (robes, slippers, bottled water, tea and coffee). The bedding was quite comfortable, and the view of Beomseom Island in the East China Sea from the room matched the relaxation that came with the sound of the ocean within walking distance of Gold One Hotel. We chose dinner at the La Scala Restaurant with top notch service and delicious BBQ platter and mushroom soup. Breakfast the next morning included a vast variety of food, served with coffee and tangerine juice. If our travels return us to Jeju Island, we will certainly look to make reservation once again at Gold One! Thank you!!

This hotel was underwhelming. It’s clean and the staff are pleasant but the location isn’t ideal for those looking to explore the area on foot. The hotel is a bit run down with a musty smell and during the offseason the hotel doesn’t offer much in terms of dining options particularly at breakfast. All nearby cafes aren’t open until mid morning. It may be better during the summer but if coming during the off-season you can probably find something better.

This hotel is conveniently located to explore Seogwipo City and the surrounding attractions. What we like: - Rooms are spacious and well equipped. There is even a jacuzzi. - Ocean facing with a great view at dawn. - ample parking and EV charging points available. - Free usage of washing machine and dryers - Short drive to major attractions like Jeongbang Falls, Marilyn Olle Market and Seogwipo World Cup Stadium - Many cafes, restaurants and dining options within a short drive away - Staff are friendly and helpful What we didn’t like: - room decor is a little dated, otherwise not much to complain about.

We travelled to Jeju in the off-season and despite it appearing as if rooms were available, we did not receive our Expedia VIP gold room upgrade. We were told by the hotel staff that "the hotel does not honour Expedia room upgrades." We understand its not guaranteed but it doesnt seem fair when there's rooms available and we selected the hotel for that benefit. That being said the spa on the balcony was amazing! The female receptionist was exceptionally helpful.

This hotel was amazing. The staff were so nice and helpful, and most spoke English. The food was delicious at the restaurant and I enjoyed the hot tub in the room. Walking to the Secret Garden was fun and scenic. They helped me arrange a birthday surprise for my friend as well. Highly recommend for both winter and summer!

Room was nice enough and there were some nice amenities. The toilet flushing wasn’t working with the console so we had to flush from behind the toilet, pushing the button in and it was quite a dirty feel, staff were informed and they fixed it the next day but asked us to deal with it for the first day rather than change rooms. Enjoyed the spa in the room, and the location was quite good, being close enough to the city and other activities to the west.

The hotel was nice, clean and close enough to shopping and restaurants - some on foot, otherwise by a quick taxi ride. What stood out more than anything was the excellent staff! Especially 보미 and 연아! They took so much time to explain sites and options around the area and give recommendations for food and activities. And they were friendly and interested in our adventures as well. They made the hotel special. Of course the view sitting in the tub looking out onto the ocean was pretty amazing also!
