The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable bed and pillows. The pool was a bit small. The TV had lines in it and it took a while for service to come, so we unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked. The helpful guest service person gave us free drinks to compensate. The downsides: There is a charge for breakfast, and wi-fi is not secured unless you pay a $4.95 charge.

We never go to check in to the hotel because it was over booked. The hotel claims Orbitz over booked it and Orbitz blames the hotel chain. It doesn't matter who's fault because it was a horrible experience with 2 kids. We pulled in at 11pm, the hotel tried to put us up in another hotel that was fully under construction (no windows, lights, in a bad section of town) we opted-NO WAY to that, we finally drove until 2am slept in a rests stop for 3 hrs. Yes and in Ohio the rest stop laws are not what they are in NY the trucks and cars can run all night long and we were over come by toxic fumes. We finally called Orbits and Marriott when we got to our destination and Orbitz did refund us the money for hotel. That's right it's pre paid and neither wanted responsibility. Marriott did nothing at all!

I stay here often for work and the staff and amenities are excellent. Everyone goes out of their way to be friendly and welcoming and he hotel and guest rooms are always clean and well maintained. I especially love their bistro, which has a great selection of food and drinks. Specifically, I absolutely appreciate Aryan who works at the Bistro. She is so kind and caring and always makes extra efforts to accommodate guests. She is a great addition to their hotel team and works tirelessly to meet guests’ needs and to make them feel at home.

The room was reasonably clean especially the beds but the floors looked a little dirty in the corners. The sink area was small and crowded for 4 people they could use more space to lay out toiletries. The breakfast buffet for 9.95 was no deal and mediocre. I've had better for free at other hotels. I will probably return only because it is the best hotel close to my relatives when visiting my family.

Came to visit family & enjoyed the Willoughby area overall. The hotel room was smaller than expected, even seemed a bit cramped. We went to the desk several times to ask general questions, and would stand there for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us (if at all).

I just spent the night; friendly service and was able to get a room eventhough I was there a couple of hours before the technical check in time.

The hotel was in a great location for what we needed. I rented a movie and it cost $16.99. That's ridiculous! The air conditioner did not work the entire time. The room was small and unlike any suite I ever stayed in before. Nothing special about this hotel. The towel bar came away from the wall and the room got terribly warm at night. We were on the second floor...all of the air seemed to be i the lobby. Probably would not stay there again...

The Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby is an excellent choice for business in Wickliffe, where you might find yourself taking a course, for example. Our work involved ABB, and the hotel is 2.5 miles away - very convenient. Breakfast was cooked and served, at a valid price (under $10) and far superior to free coffee and uninspiring Danish or the equivalent. Our previous stay had been 15 miles further away, by freeway. This was much more satisfying. No restaurant other than breakfast, but valid choices close, including good value from Damon's Grill next door.

It doesn't matter who's fault because it was a horrible experience with 2 kids.
