I checked in early. There was a fee of about ~$40 for early check in. I understand that but there were about 10 cars in the lot so it seems unnecessary. The person who "greeted" me at the counter was not particularly pleasant. After finding I wanted to check in early, she passed me off to someone else. This person, after running my card for incidentals and checking my ID, said I could go to the room and he would run my card for the early check in fee. As I waited at the elevator, he shouted, "your card was declined, come back here." So I went back to the counter and confirmed that he had just run my AMEX for incidentals and it wasn't declined? His response was snarky. I asked him if he could run the card again. He did and it was approved. Then he didn't say anything to me and I had to ask, "did it go through....can I leave." There were additional things I noticed that caused me to not want to stay there, but long story short, their customer service is terrible. The room itself was run down....walls banged up with paint missing. The arm chair in the room was old and filthy. Bathrooms are dated and kind of grungy.
