The large home (4bd, 3ba), 3300 sq ft sleeps 12 and has spacious open concept areas for gathering. The small home (3bd, 2ba) is nice for an additional 6-8 guests. Walk across the street to enjoy the park's walking trails or ride bikes (5 adult, 3 kids). Pool table & arcade games too!

Details about the Two Homes

The Big House:

Windows throughout the home will be sure to delight if natural light is your thing! Downstairs living room and kitchen are open concept and wonderful for gathering. Room to spread out, gas fireplace, and OLED HD 72" TV.

The loft upstairs provides a second living room space, still quite connected with the activity below.

Three bedrooms downstairs:
The 1st is a master that includes a king bed, it's own 43" TV, and has a bathroom that has a shower.
The 2nd has a queen bed just a little further down the hall with it's own built in desk work-space.
The 3rd is a spare bedroom off the main living space with a queen bed and a beautiful skylight.

Main hallway bathroom has a large jetted bathtub.

Upstairs is the loft on one side and a large master family suite with a king bed, and also a bunk bed with a trundle roll out to sleep three additional guests. Great for a family wanting one room to share during their stay or multiple friends looking to bunk together. This bedroom also has a bathroom with a shower and a large walk in closet, set up as a kids play space.

The garage has been transformed into a game room with a pool table, foosball, and bikes!

The Small House:

Bright open concept living room, dining and kitchen.

In the house are two bedrooms. ne has a queen bed and its own bathroom. The larger bedroom, also with ensuite bathroom, has a king bed, as well as an extra living space. A queen air mattress and sheets are provided if you want to turn this living space into an additional sleeping option.

In addition, a small detached bedroom is available in the backyard. This would be a spot for extra privacy for one person, or a sweet play space for kids when spending time in the backyard.

The two homes have an art studio situated between them. When you reserve The Retreat, you get access to this wonderful space too! Shelves are stocked with art supplies you are welcome to use, there's natural light in every direction, and the hammock chairs add a touch of whimsy. This space has small, easy to rearrange tables and chairs, plus slider doors that open into the back yard and front driveway, so it's helpful for gathering moments too.

Finally, there is plenty of parking in the large driveway, and Bidwell Park is right outside your door for both homes. When you want to be in the park, it is just a quick walk across the street, and you can enjoy the beautiful creek, lush greenery, walking paths, and shaded picnic areas.

Downtown Chico, Chico State, and Sierra Nevada Brewery are all 10 minutes or less drive.
