Springhill Suites By Marriott Bolingbrook3.0 out of 5.0

I unexpectedly needed a hotel room and found SpringHill Suites in Bolingbrook. It was a good price per night, and I know that Bolingbrook is a safe place to stay. The hotel has a very nice and had a cool looking lobby. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming (That's the Marriott I know and love!) My daughter needed a place to rehearse for an audition so the front desk let us use a conference room. Like I said, the hotel front desk staff was very welcoming. The rooms were great. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice design. large size bathroom. We were pleased with the room. Then next morning we had to leave very early. We went downstairs and got breakfast... typical breakfast fair... eggs, Canadian bacon, oatmeal, fruits, toast, bagels, muffins, etc. When we checked out, the morning front desk person was a super sweet lady (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name - she was working the morning of Sept. 12th.) Anyway, she asked us if our stay was good. We told her yes. Then she asked what we were in town for, and we told her an audition. We chatted a bit more about the audition and then she said a prayer over my daughter for her audition! It was the sweetest prayer... so heartfelt! The made our day! My daughter told me once we got in the car that the woman's prayer made her feel very special. Later that day, my daughter's audition went superbly and she is moving on to the semi-finals! Prayer works! Thank you SpringHill Suites in Bolingbrook for being special and making us feel so special ... we'll definitely be back!
Property is nice. Good size rooms, frog and microwave's are excellent. Quite a few restaurants within walking distance, so, another plus. Parking good, breakfast good. Indoor pool a nice touch. Property sells itself.
Wonderful hotel!! The staff were friendly and made a point of talking to our little person. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool and hot tub were also a welcomed treat! The free breakfast had plenty to choose from. Located right off the interstate with several restaurants close by, free wifi and parking. Starbucks across the street, great location!!! This is our go to place when we are visiting Chicago, which is a short drive from here! We also got 2 free beverages in our fridge from the front desk, so cool!!
Super nice staff with a convenient location right off the interstate. The hotel had a fire alarm go off in the early evening and the sound of the alarm resulted in the wireless thermostat popping off the wall and hitting the floor. I didn't realize till the middle of the night that the thermostat was now broken. A tad chilly but otherwise fairly uneventful. The hotel shares a parking lot with a Cheddar's which is a 20 yard walk and couldn't be easier to grab a bite at.
Needed to stay this side of town for work, and Bolingbrook seemed relatively central to the various locations. The property has plenty of well lit parking. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was overwhelmingly friendly.
We stayed for two nights for a Chicago basketball tournament. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Even toward the 14 and 15 year old boys who could be a bit rambunctious. :) Complimentary breakfast was so nice! Great to have healthy protein (scrambled eggs) for athletes. King suite was spacious and comfortable. Hotel was clean. Would have liked a larger fitness center. Loved that standard check out time was noon!
Staying at the Spring Hill Suites was a great experience for my family. I blocked 15 rooms for family reunion weekend. The price was right for out of town guests who come from small towns and typically don't spend more than 79.99 a night for hotels. By the rooms all being suites everyone felt that they got enough bang for their bucks. Early check-in was no problem. The rooms are nicely appointed. The staff was very helpful and understanding of the family communing in the lounge areas. Continental breakfast was very tasteful and hit the spot. We will certainly choose Springhill Suites for our next event.
This was without a doubt one of the friendliest staffs we have ever encountered. Between checkin, post-fireworks return, early morning balloon watching departure, breakfast hour return, and checkout, we saw them at a range of different times and situations, and every single person was consistently cheerful, kind, and welcoming. Check in was efficient and reservation had been correctly booked. Staff offered assistance with directions and recommendations. The kitchenette had one special touch I've never been offered before: packets of plasticware to eat the leftovers everyone brings back to the hotel fridge. The complimentary soda was greatly appreciated, too. The room was fresh and clean (without being perfumed). The beds were heavenly. The rooms were perfectly quiet, even though very convenient to the interstate. Breakfast was done better than I recall from other SpringHill suites in other locations. Finally, staff contacted us within an hour of checkout to let us know they had found our camera and to see how they might best get it back to us.
It's a very nice property and a great representation of the brand. The property was well maintained and the front desk was very welcoming and nice. Good room, clean and nice suite. Pretty quiet area, and close to some restaurants and some shopping. Price was decent for the area. They even had a cute welcome note and sodas in the fridge for me.
We come to Bolingbrook 2-3 times a year. We stayed here regularly until the Hilton Garden Inn was built and we switched. Big mistake! Cheap construction and mediocre service convinced us to come back to Springhill. Clean rooms, good breakfast, and Rose greeting us at check in has convinced us that we never should have gone elsewhere.
